If you were to do this you would want 32 players instead of 30. Easier to make your bracket. Special items in crown store is a bad idea and probably a no go anyway because ZoS wants those items available to as much of the player base as possible. Special prizes would need to be cosmetic only.
There are guilds that hold dueling tournaments and often offer some form of reward for winning.

Yes there are guilds who are holding, but implemented by ZOS will be better imho

I doubt Zos has much interest in running such a tournament. The player base has proven that there is no money in PvP and Zos is not exactly a charity.

Nah, all the pvp playerbase has proven is that the majority of pvp players who joined this game for its advertised RvRvR endgame will leave due to a *** launch and constant *** performance.

I agree. A tournament would be fun for a lot of players. I was mostly pointing out the prizes for winning can't be to great and wonderful because the vast majority of players have no interest in dueling. I could see some specific titles and achievements, maybe a costume and trophies as furniture. And a big ole pile of gold?
The guild remark was simply a reminder.

They left long ago Players begged for BGs since early into the game. Zos had to make it part of the base game because so few ponied up for it. Heck, even the GF issue did not start until after it hit the base game. You can argue around that all you wish but the business people at Zenimax see the real facts.
