While you do not make sense in any way, Bethesda happens to be a city in Maryland which is where Bethesda of Zenimax got it's name. As such it would make sense there would be a bank by that name. However, Bank of Bethesda has operated as Sun Trust Bank for over a decade now.

i just love that soooo many folks take the time to answer some of our more "interesting/bizarre/non-nonsensical/substance induced" discussion postings...

i've come to learn over the years here that some of the neatest insight, jokes and cool gifs occur just in these type threads...it sort of becomes a anything goes moment - cuz really, who knows what the *** probabkyravi is really thinking...

ZeniMax Media Inc. actually owns Bethesda Game Studios and ZeniMax Online Studios as well as a few others, and they are the ones who control the purse strings.

The Bank of Bethesda was first opened in 1926 in Maryland, USA. It's founder did seem to hang out with politicians quite a bit, so perhaps we can assume he and his bank were perhaps a bit shady and indeed 'just a money making organization'.
