    Hilarious thread! Here’s my experience.

    1. Pick up ICP pledge on about 6 characters, mostly tanks. (Bad move—don’t really want to tank the dungeon because I hate to do stuff I haven’t previously experienced in case I screw up—especially when tanking).

    2. Try ICP on normal as duo with husband DPS’ing. Learn to tank the first boss fight and get him down after a few tries.

    3. Wipe several times on second boss but learn the fight.

    4. Get tired...consider joining 4-person group as tank, but haven’t learned to tank the other bosses yet. Watch a couple youtube ICP vids, but .... see #1.

    5. Queue for IC and port to alliance base. Only been there once before, ever. Explore a bit. Buy one of those flower packs one hears about with free Telvar stones from daily sign-in rewards. Only 18 flowers?? Might as well pick ‘em myself! No appetite for getting ganked, so leave.

    6. Got no tickets, but already have 12 that I can’t find anything to spend on, so I’m done with this event.

    7. Where’s my beer?

I tried the easy way. Queue up for nWGT and nICP, wait for 40 min. Engaged the first crowd in nICP and got immediately kicked from the group, in chat they say because I didn't wait for others (on NORMAL). I'm 810c and I've done vCR, vSS, vAS. I don't need to wait for the tank to engage the trash on normal. Wait another 30 min, get in WGT. This time it was adequate group, cleared it in 10 min. So, an hour and a half. Nice.

You are wrong. You need to wait because you are a part of the group.

If you want to run ahead form your group in zone chat. Should be easy because you can form your group with three DPS instead of the tank as you don't need one.

I purposely skipped the last 2 days of Orsinium event so I'd have 12 tickets to buy the new berry and have 2 tickets to start the next event. So I can safely skip this one. Have a nascent ready to go and 3 feathers toward the fourth.

the marked sewer bosses require you to loot them AND only 12 people will get loot. So if there are more than 12 people killing them, you may need to do the marked bosses more than once.

Ah, thank you, that explains why I sometimes haven't gotten looting privileges. In that case I suppose looting privilege goes only to the 12 players who did the most damage?

all jokes aside, some posts above, there is an advice to go into no CP campaign? very sound. go into no cp campaign during hours where alliances have their population bar around 1, maybe 2 bars at most. leave ALL of your tel var in the bank. kill the closest stationary boss and loot it for tickets. watch out for patrolling banner boss, sometimes they show up close to the starting area for your alliance.

those bosses are easier to kill on ranged characters with decent self healing, at least in my experience. all in all, doesn't take all that long and at least if you get killed, you only lose a little bit of time, no tel var and can either try a different campaign or try again in half an hour or so. try not to leave it too close to reset, in case there are unexpected gankers, you may need to wait out. doing above during busy hours can be both easier and harder. easier cause strength in numbers, there are usually other people from your alliance waiting to kill the same boss (at least on PC, can't say for consoles, bur CAN say that above applies to both EU and US realms). harder cause if there are too many people from your alliance - the "only 12 people can loot" rule can set you back a bit (happened to me on EU, but on a plus side, i got to explore a bit more and get some skyshards)
    dirty worthless casual.

In the past events with Molag Bal's simulacrum, it seems to be random among the players in the fight, as healers have also gotten loot in fights where they werent in the top 12 DPS.

1- stay as far as possible from ic
2- stick to wgt and icp, preferably wgt
    3- profit?

Queues for group content... Ignores group members... Complains about getting kicked.

    Gotta love karma :D

Yeah I didn't quite get the logic of that either. Though personally if someone runs ahead of the group in a pug I let them, and then I let them deal with whatever they aggro all in their own. If they feel like soloing a dungeon far be it from me to stop them, I only need the last boss anyway.

I've given up on pugs helping me to do story runs to talk to npcs and such.
If I queue and they want to carry me, go ahead. In fact, impatient ubers should be allowed to qualify for that role https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/488397/group-finder-new-role-carry

Easy. Make a tank. Doesnt even need to be all equipped and stuff. go nICP. get your ticket. And shut the hell up lol
This, or an healer who works for any magic build, you just need an resto staff and some skillpoints.
    Also WGT is faster.

Or join an guild event and mess around in the sewer.
Grinding just make you go in circles.

I enjoy it Beardimus, in fact I started my own mini-game this year. Every time I hear someone yell "cheat" or "cheater" in zone chat, it is time to take a drink.
Sounds like an plan, only downside is that you might so drunk you keep falling off the chair before you get your tickets.

How to tank nICP: taunt biggest guy, hold block. No exceptions. ICP is the definition of a bbq, burn it all. Sure your team may need to pop a few zits and interrupt that one boss but it’s on Normal. On day 1 I took some guildies and typed the instructions, they had never been, I was the healer. I didn’t even have time to type out all of the instructions for the zit popping boss and we finished it without a death.

Day 2 was another story though. Fake tanks in queue need more punishment than being kicked.

1 - Queue for IC on your tank because you expect you're going to need it. A PvE tank with no crit defence whatsoever, of course.
2 - Wait for a while because of course it's full.
    3 - Appear at your alliance's base
4 - Advance to boss spot.
5 - Get ganked, fend for yourself.
---- If you survive, go to 4
    ---- If you don't, go to 3
6 - After sufficiently repeating step 4, arrive at the boss.
7 - Wait for the boss.
    8 - Get ganked.
---- If you survive, go to 7
    ---- If you don't, go to 3
9 - After sufficiently repeating step 7, fight the boss
---- If you survive, go to 10
    ---- If you don't go to 3
10 - If you got your tickets, go back to your base and exit. You might get ganked on the way, but that's actually akin to taking a shortcut so don't fight back
---- If you are bugged and didn't get your tickets, go back to step 7.

Still much faster than trying to do a one of the dungeons, though.

    Day One:
    1. Log in and go anywhere other than IC or Cyrodil.
    2. Enjoy my game-time.

Day Two through end of IC event:
    Repeat steps 1 and 2.

That's how you avoid any pvp while still earning tickets.

    normal mode works to?

if so thats so much more relaxing and easy 20 mins done

Yes it does. Even less than 20 min if you go with 3-4 dds. :)

ICP is longer and lockpicking mechanic is irrelevant on normal, the boss dies too fast. Even on vet it's usually skipped.

Well, here is my routine for regular events except this one:
    1. Do one FedEx quest, get the tickets.
    2. Realise you have to do it every day for a week.
    3. Ponder, do these cosmetic things like a deer mount justify working in FedEx?
    4. Conclude that you play the game to have fun, not to run from point A to point B ad nauseam.
    5. Go join a BG instead and have actual fun instead of doing boring things to get a petty reward.

This event has been amazing in providing an alternative and entertaining form of PvP. BGs are good, but they do get a little monotonous at some point, and the stakes are really low there. IC used to be empty or filled with unkillable "pros", but now it's just PvP heaven for the duration of the event. It's free form and fairly experimental for a lot of people, and it has a certain freshness to it.

Sorry I’ve been traumatized by the Planar Inhibitor way too many times. I know she’s almost too easy now but the trauma remains. Last couple IC events on my tanks, I explain the mechanics well before the fight because the “Close the rifts” priestess teaches you twice before then what to do and yet!

The boss fight in WGT that requires lockpicking is otherwise the easiest one in the dungeon. So if you're teleported to the fiery jail cell and can't get out, it's no big deal.
