✭✭✭✭✭I don't like skipping trash, let alone bosses. But it's good to have different dungeons where you're not forced to do a linear path and can skip parts if you want. Skipping isn't what bothers me, people assuming everyone wants to skip is.9 -

✭✭No, you can use chat to tell the group you need the quest, or pledge bosses, most of the time in a PUG of FG1 you will be with lower level players that need the quest anyway.
More than a few players farm the end boss in FG1 at some point, for set weapons and jewelry, see no reason they should be handicapped for something that is not a real issue.
FG1 being quick to do was only really an issue before they changed the random dungeon bonus to require you do to the dungeon you got not just port of FG1.

✭✭✭✭✭just yah because reasonsIt's faster to kill those 2 skipped bosses or whatever then see that drama each time when somebody wants to skip and others don't want. Thanks god I didn't touched daily random dungeons since I reached CP810, level of toxicity in randoms is unbearable.
Now I do only fast and simple vpledges (for keys) or vdlc (for fun) and totally ignore v2's and different buggy mess like Wayrest door, they are simply not worth playing if you don't need head from there. Ok Spindle 2 is ok, it's fast and another impen helm doesn't hurt.2 -

Att1Tude✭✭✭Deffo no. You have to do the ach once, and after that you have to do whole dungeon over and over again. If you need ach, ask. Do it with guildies. You can't be that bad with people that you have to ask Devs to change the game for you.

Borat✭✭✭No thanks, some people want to get it done asap, we've run the content a thousand times. Uusally we are considerate and if someone in the group wants to doit all we'll go help. But if the 4 people wanna skip why not let them?
This *** posting is getting out of hand, why take away freedom from the players? In a game like this everyone should be able to enjoy the game THEIR way and NOT YOUR way9 -
NeroBad✭✭✭✭Also we need every dialogue in dungeons to be unskipable, beacuse I have hard time finding groups who let me do that. Also make it that nobody could leave a dungeon group unless all 4 people agrees on that (log off for more then 5 mins should get you a 7 day ban). I can go on where I have some inconvenience because others do shortcuts, (dialogues are for a reason, and I hate it when a member thinks that if we fail once then its hopless) but If we prohibit every shortcut, then many would just stop playing.3 -

✭vote for invisi walls in CoA2. I hate that horse jumping bs. And if somebody stuck there, they will stuck for longer time than if group just kill everything in normal way.
Also there is shortcut right to final boss in Ruins of Mazzatun*. Our ninja jumped there ez, but boi the rest of the team was like balls trying to climb on stairs.

DLM✭✭✭✭✭Most dungeons have a shortcut in place and I am confident that this is not by mistake. Did you know that you could skip most of the first pulls in Frostvault by hugging the right wall, if you bring up the map you can clearly see that it was designed this way.

If you stop people from jumping down, nothing stops them from simply avoiding the first dreugh boss since it's standing in the corner (I think I missed it the first time I was there because of that) and the crab boss won't follow players past the broken bridge anyway. So the two bosses people skip by jumping would still be skippable if people could not jump into he water.
I don't mind skipping stuff. Mazzatun, those areas filled with mobs just because comes to mind. Same for so many annoying/pointless/hard pulls in Bloodroot. But skipping bosses feels scummy all around, unless the whole group is on the same page. And with FG1....? It takes probably around 5 minutes to complete anyway. Why skip?
