Option to be useless early game?

Since they won't increase the difficulty, let us toggle the option to be bad in some sense. Take more damage, find less gear, level slower, something but only for early to mid levels.

I don't assign cp whille i level a new character.

And depending on how much of a hurry i am in. I might not even bother crafting a set of training gear.

Not really because there is no sense of consequence. I could get a dagger, wear nothing, use no skills, and still do most of the pve content.

Levelling up a new character is sufficiently difficult. It's only a problem when you try to do overland as an endgame character and you one-shot quest bosses.

They need to allow endgame characters an option to gimp themselves. I'd love a button that disabled my CP and reduces my gear level to 50 (or even better, a level of your choice). Removing and then re-adding CP/gear manually multiple times in a day isn't a feasible solution, especially on console.

No skills no armor or weapons, just punch the mobs, add in fight 2 or 3 mobs at a time enjoy your hard mode.

You'd need to spend hours each week reallocating your CP as well as tens of thousands of gold respeccing. It's not a feasible expectation.

I usually quest while waiting for dungeon or trial groups to form. I can't be respeccing 5 times a day. It takes 10-15 minutes just to reallocate CP, and 3k gold for each respec.

They should remove the CP system and make it the traditional attribute system instead with a toggle to have Agility affect your hit chance, willpower affect your cast chance, and luck affecting both.

You don't have the ability to raise the difficulty yourself. I've already explained to you why that is.

Hopefully they will add veteran zones soon so we don't have to resort to such stupidity for a decent challenge.

They have veteran dungeons after all. It makes little sense why we shouldn't have a veteran overland for veteran players as well.

That's one of the reasons I haven't bought Elseweyr yet. Waiting to see how the new CP system shakes out and to see if they do something to improve the quality of gameplay as it relates to the landscape content. Because it's just pitifully easy to the point it teeters on boredom and I'm sure they realize this.

It was only more difficult while you were on par level wise though. You would quickly out level the zone after a few quests then it would become even easier than it is now and the monsters wouldn't even drop loot - yet still aggro. It was annoying as all get out.

They just need to add veteran zones that scale to the level of max CP. It's an easy problem to fix.

Doesn't work. You still get free gear and 3 levels upon spawn. There's a small level of difficulty at max CP because you're minmaxing to beat other players who are.
