Elsweyr's storyline is slightly cheesy but all in all, I enjoyed this chapter the most. The steppe desert geographical beauty of Anequina is something special and it's really cool to finally know what the lands to the east of Reaper's March is like.
Elsweyr is also great from a lore perspective as you get to see the various Khajiiti furstocks for the first time as well as learn more about the Akaviri/Tsaesci that settled in the Rimmen area.
Well Morrowind was good not gonna say it wasn't. Summerset is great, I like it a lot. Elsweyr..come on, here be dragons! Dragons = awesome. Even the evil ones.
We Fight For Cyrodiil.
We fight for The Daggerfall Covenant.
We fight for The Aldmeri Dominion.
We fight for The Ebonheart Pact.
We fight for Tamriel!
Although Summerset has the weakest visuals it has the best main story of the trio.
However - Summerset is the conclusion of the Daedric War story so it is better to have completed Morrowind and Clockwork City prior.
I said my piece on Elsweyr a while ago but I will wait to see how the story concludes this fall.
I think ESO does a great job with the overall consistent quality questing experience but I have to hand it to WoW for their epic main stories.
I am optimistic that ESO will get better from here, with Great Lore, recurring characters to better establish a journey for our characters, and Year long stories.
One thing I will say on Year Long Format is - I think that Q3 DLC should have a prelude quest to Q4 DLC, just like how Q1 Wrathstone had a prelude quest for the Q2 Chapter
The quests are actually very good too, in main story and side quests and connections among them. At a certain point one becomes tired of the obnoxious Altmer and hence of the questing, but that's really the only major drawback to an otherwise magnficently done zone.
Morrowind and Nerfweyr brought awful gameplay changes and nerfs with them so I really dislike them for that but also Summerset is by far the most beautiful zone in the game and I love being there.
1) Kitties!
2) My favorite NPC of all time, the magnificent Sereyne
3) I’m a desert rat so I love the landscape, cliffs and all
4) I love the baandari aesthetics
5) My favorite bard performance and song, “Dancing Among the Flowers Fine”. I stop and listen every time she sings that one
6) KITTIES
and, it just seems different. the other zones seem like reskins to me. the dragons in elswhere are cool, but other than that...eh.

Morrowind for me and right now having fun in Summerset. Elyswer I don't intend to buy uless it goes on sale for less than 20 bucks and even then maybe not. I just burned out on Dragons in Skyrim which I played for years with and without mods. Sick of Dragons. They became annoying to me like Cliff Racers.
Still playing through Summerset but loving it. I think for raw questing and side quests it's the best one. I enjoyed Elsweyr a lot so far and love getting Halls of the Lunar Champion and the area is beautiful, there's no doubt and several great quests and characters that made me laugh. Vvardenfell is also very beautiful and full of great quests and characters and for nostalgia takes me back to the original Morrowind game.
Love the dragons, enjoyed the story quests in Elsweyr the most out of all of them and love all the new kinds of Khajiit's. Was happy to finally get Necromancers but not a fan of how they are unfortunately. Also love the free House and Rimmens layout is the best IMO for doing my writs, mount training etc.
Had to choose elsweyr. Don't get me wrong, they are all great, but there's just something special about elsweyr.
Morrowind gave us the warden which i had conflicting emotions on for a long time (my poor nord tank still isn't maxed) but my brother has been playing on his recently and I'm finally going to finish levelling mine after seeing him play it. Vvardenfell is a great zone but i never played morrowind before oblivion so the nostalgia isn't really there for me. I remember seeing my cousins play it when i was a kid but i never truly experienced it for myself. It's still a good zone but i didn't really care for the story that much and at the time i was on the fence about the warden class but it is now starting to attract me.
Summerset was great imo. I know some people found it bland and boring but it's the colours that do it for me. The greens and pinks and reds... mmm. Auridon was one of my favourite zones in the base game so that on a bigger scale was just a dream for me. I understand they could have given it slightly more love but i think they nailed alinor for the most part. It feels like proper high fantasy, feels very elven. I never got into jewellery crafting because i heard it was grindy as hell but i have been on the verge of spending most of my gold just to level it and get the divine gold dye. One of the best dyes in the game imo. Story wasn't too bad but could have probably been better. Still prefer it to morrowind overall.
Elsweyr gave us dragon fights and the long awaited neceomancer class. I know dragon fights are basically just harder dolmens but i often find myself fighting them with other people. If i stumble across one or am within that general area i will make the effort to go there and help fight it just for that chance of it dropping a motif chapter. It's like an addiction. I haven't had a motif drop yet but i did get some purple furnishing that went for 140k so ever since that i have been chasing the carrot on the stick. I've been waiting for the necromancer since, well, forever. While some are disappointed that it isn't a pet class i think the sorcerer kind of covers that niche already and i don't have a problem with them using the dead as throwaway weapons instead of companions/pets. Scythe is a great spammable and boneyard ain't too bad either. While i would have preferred the skeleton dragon ultimate from the concept, the colossus does it's burst damage just fine on groups. However, blastbones still doesn't do that damage when considering it's cast time and my magcro is feeling rather underpowered at the moment but I'm not going to go too much into that. I've seen stamina in action though with the ultimate and that looks way better so i might try that. Elsweyr as a zone is now my favourite. The colours, again, are just really nice and i love the architecture and vegetation. Elsweyr's story was probably my favourite of the three and i listened to every line of dialogue just to follow the story because i was hooked. Can't wait to go to the south in dragonhold and meet up with sai.
Sorry for the long post, just thought i would give explanations for why i liked all three but why i liked elsweyr the most. All three are really good and i can't wait for chapter four next year. Hope you all have a great day.
I love mushrooms and Dunmer. The whole "Chapter" failed in my hopes of an epic story and the zone felt like it had bits chopped off for later (much later, if ever).
Summerset...well I re-subbed for it and was plagued by high ping spikes and disconnects going into dungeons, using wayshrines and even just pottering about. This meant I hardly even started the story.
Elsweyr….Haven't even bought it. It being epic in my imagination is better than discovering it's another beautiful zone, with bug ridden gameplay and slightly drained of life.
If you'd have put IC and Wrothgar I'd have voted for them, they were the first and last great updates (I like my PvP and PvE separate and I'm not an Orc lover, but those two zones still rated highly for me).
All of the "chapters" feel oddly thin spread for "totally not dlc" to me. Each one feels thinner and thinner. I have to admit I had some trouble getting interested of Elswayr and have not given it through look yet. Maybe it gets less shallow later.
That other MMO invalidates all old content when they push theirs and it is boring crap, but there is rather lot of it for similar price.
