Ummm are we playing the same game because no, there is no way it's better, it definitely worse and keeps getting worse every patch. I used to get DC'd in Cyro one or two times a night, now it's like at least a half dozen or more in two hours.kylewwefan wrote: »Performance is better than it has been.
Performance was better in 2014, and the game had better graphics
kylewwefan wrote: »Did anyone even notice that? Oh yeah it was 11 million, now the ads say 13 Million players. Tell me how the game is dying ya weirdos.
Performance is better than it has been. Gaining new players to clap err welcome into the game.
It’s good! Things are getting better.
There’s performance improvement plans underway.
QOL game enhancements.

The game might be able to carry on for a few more years. Might

LOL , 13 Million Players ?
I cannot feel it in PS4 NA .
How many active players exactly ?
It's one of those though, when you look at percentages on achievements, it's seemingly much less.
Xbox stats:
Achieved level 50:
Only 7.25% of gamers unlocked this
Spend your first Champion Point:
Only 7.14% of gamers unlocked this
etc;
I suppose it helps when they do the F2p events, game pass and whatever on PC/PS4 that draws thousands of temporary accounts in.

Let’s break this down a little bit with the simpleton math I can understand. 13 million accounts. 3 platforms. Well say 4 million per platform for the sake of simplicity. If they are roughly equally spread out.
I can’t figure out %7.25 level 50 characters in my head, but I can do %10 real fast. That would be roughly 400,000 accounts to level 50. But it wasn’t %10, it was closer to half that. Which would be 200,000. Plus a little more, I think you could roughly say 300,000 level 50 characters.
Btw, it’s %12.2 level 50 characters on PS4 so you know.
I’ve been told before that those numbers are completely inaccurate, so whatever on that anyways.
Only 0.6% of PS4 players have completed vMA. It's crazy to look at those trophy %'s. I think Belkarth alone holds 95% of all end game trial bois & gals, LOL

It would be interesting to see the exact number of active players of each platform though, I wouldn't imaging that it is anywhere near 13 million (that is obviously total accounts).

This seems about right judging by how many are online in the guilds I'm in and from my experience with STO. STO also has a couple of million accounts but on average only has about 80,000 players. ESO is massively larger than STO and most areas are well-populated at any time of the day.
As ZOS, like Cryptic, will never reveal how many are actually playing at any one time, you can use the Steam Stats for trend data, this of course only shows a small minority who actually play through Steam but it's not the numbers but the trend that is important.
The steam chart app shows the data since the game was launched, going from a low of 1187 in November 2014 to a high of 32,498 in May 2019, the trend is very clearly up.
Compare that with the trend for STO which is very clearly down since the high point of the Legacy of Romulus event several years ago. The experiences in both actual games mirror what I see in these figures and lead me to believe that they are in the 'ball park' so to speak.

Mein for 5...
i find it Very hard to believe there are even 100,000 people playing eso, let alone 13 million.
my guess is around 10,000 people play eso daily.
might even be less then that.
