    I haven't had a death recap WITHOUT soul trap or entropy on it. Purge is ridiculously expensive for the low amount of cleansing it does, as opposed to DoT's which are super cheap to cast. You can't spam it, yet you have to because there's no way you're fighting more than two people without one of those players putting DoT's on you.

    The good thing is console has build in video recording capabilities.
    Looking forward to seeing how you deal with DoT's, since you say it isn't an issue and we all need to L2P.
    So, show us. Show us this great performance and you dealing with DoT's.

    When I first started playing this game, I played the story doing most of the random quests along the way. It was a great experience. Didn't care about farming or anything. Just the experience.

    Once I finally maxed out CP and began theory crafting pvp builds for all classes I found the greatest enjoyment in the game.

    However, that's where you notice every detail and begin to see the "painful to watch" path the game is on. That enjoyment then gets drowned by the greatest disappointment...

    magden pvper here and i've had 0 issue with the dots. And no, i don't spam netch. so yeah.

    if you have 0 self defense don't be surprised when you get eaten down by dots.

    I haven't had the chance to do a lot of gameplay yet, but this is one of a select few patches that is more significantly impacting my characters on some fundamental levels. Several of my characters are fine, but my two favorites are impacted quite a bit. Perhaps that is why this patch frustrates me more.

    Lightning mage was one of the two I was concerned about. While he will be fine, there are three changes that just plain annoy me. The more difficult changes come for my artificer, who I am now going to need to do a pretty significant revamp for. Some of these changes I am excited about to be honest, but at the same time he is loosing something of his identity with these transitions. I am really, really going to miss hammer time. :(

    How can you give proper feedback after one day of the game being on console?

    Somehow I missed your posting the above when the forum was crammed with hyperbolic DOT hate threads on Day 1 of PC patch release. Maybe I just didn't read the forums carefully enough that day.

    Don't worry, the forums were full of QQs well before anyone got to play on the PTS ;) !

    Ppl ALWAYS overreact because they are sheep who follow pre made builds. So now they need to tweak it.

    The dots are one thing.....you can cope, agree or disagree with them; the homogenization of classes is another. Sort of addressed by the Q and A but .......... zos has not really delivered alot in the past about balance.

    So I find it really quite difficult to be optimistic about where the future class balancing will go. Tack on the expected time frame for all this change and constant change is constant but not making things much fun.

    (unless you like stacking lots of range dots on people in pvp, plenty of people like that)

    What did they say regarding homogenization in the Q and A?
    previously @HaruKamui but I outgrew my weeb phase (probably)
