Update landed on console, for us the new dot builds are great for PvE lack of skill tracking makes this patch really nice and smooth for us.

Dots in PvP are not a problem, i was expecting to be dying left right and centre from these aparent "Op Dotszzz" 😂😂 no issues here, these are genuine L2P issues, burst is still as strong. Cast times on ultis are slightly annoying but bareable just need to adapt a little.

Server seemed much smoother with overall better performance, still room for much more improvement however a nice step in the right direction.

Nice work to all involved in the update, i was dreading it based on forum feedback but my word what an unncecassary reaction it has been.

Now less drastic changes every 6 months and you are onto a winner, i fully expect small changes to combat etc with updates but it really needs toning down, too much too often is detrimental and annoying.

Thanks again great job!!

I was of the same opinion honestly for PC when the changes hit. Of course, we had some major stability issues that needed to be ironed out and more than a few bugs needed troubleshooting... but overall i was quite happy with the changes too and since out last patch on PC everything that was majorly wrong from the update has been fixed. Still a ways to go sure- but overall these changes felt positive!

Agreed with OP performance has been good and now with a clear cut bottom line for skills future updates will be more precise. Performance can be focused on more instead of classes and skills once the audit is finally finished

LOL fair enough, i AM a magplar fan and after 5yrs of constant nerfs i have been THRILLED for the last there balance changes to bring them back up where they deserve to be.... but i DO also have 4 mag blades, a stamblade, two magdk's, and 2 magsorcs.... so yeah i am heavily mag-biased.... but many of my friends and guild mates are stam-biased and even they admit that some of what got "broken" for them needed nerfing lol. so there's that. like i said though- we are still a long way from perfect....but in terms of things feeling like they are operating smoothly... this was some of the better changes. In PvP my characters are much more fun to play- but i still get rolled by the same names on their same original toons that i got rolled by before hehehe i just am able to last a little longer while doing it XD.

The dots are one thing.....you can cope, agree or disagree with them; the homogenization of classes is another. Sort of addressed by the Q and A but .......... zos has not really delivered alot in the past about balance.

So I find it really quite difficult to be optimistic about where the future class balancing will go. Tack on the expected time frame for all this change and constant change is constant but not making things much fun.

(unless you like stacking lots of range dots on people in pvp, plenty of people like that)

The dot meta is horrible. Everyone in my raid group hates their rotations now(myself included). Healing is okay in raids, but kinda boring now. Cyro is alright except for the performance issues and the continued pop problem due to faction lock. BGs are not fun now. I've been going all out on bgs ever since morrowind brought them to us, do about 5-6 toons on rotation, but this patch makes them not enjoyable at all.

After the updatte on PS4 has landed and have done the new dungeon´s I dont realy have any negative to say about the update. The dungeon´s are interesting, fun and nice done.

I´m high Elf magsorc cp 1055 and sure I have discovered some changes in combat, but no biggie as I see it -- nerfs here and there and buffs here and there.

I was a bit alarming myself and discovered I had to shield more than before. Saw the first vigor warrior as I call them (have used it a few times myself). I dont see any use for it Pve in content unles you solo. What have been more inportant now is healer´s and tank´s doing what they surpose to do.

Let´s see what happens it´s early day´s and there are alway´s people out there who will screw up group game play.

at this point it´s looking good.

    Kind regards

i stopped doing bg's when they took cp back out of them again. i really don't understand why we can't have cp and non-cp ones but thats neither here nor there. Out of curiosity though- i've seen a couple people mention bg's being unplayable now.... why? what about the changes hurt them so much? my friends in the non-cp campaigns haven't really been complaining about much so im not sure what the prob is that's in bg's specifically? can you elaborate?

It helps the console players alot, i can see how pc players can call it a step down in skill etc with all of them trackers and add ons the game was already "begginer friendly" you dont have to think.

Well, whilst we can see that the current DoT meta isn't exactly popular; the combat devs have said that their next target is to focus on class skills and identity (source; the QA on the 23rd.)

Some people may find things rough for now, but I look forward to seeing these adjustments.

Also, I did feel like console performance was a tad better when I played yesterday. Still not amazing by any means, but better.

Seeing what ZOS has done to Werewolf, I don't really belive that it was forum's overreaction. Quite the oposite - it was the correct reaction...

Because of some people abusing ww in low level BGs pre-made groups.
WW DPS went down from 70k to 48K. That is something like 30% DPS reduction. Do the same to some popular DPS classes (or all of them), and the sit storm that you would get would couse mods not to be able to keep up with closing down threads (as a result they would have to shut down forums for a while).
ZOS is lucky that WW is a niche mini-class and is not as vocal on forums.

Btw. 70K on a maxed build on a target dummy is still quite low. People are able to pull something like 98 - 105k DPS on a target dummy, on a non-ww. And that is with scalebreaker changes. So scalebreaker WW is doing 48K, while non-WW is doing 100K DPS. I have already seen peaople crying that they no longer meet the requred DPS threshold, thus they are not allowed to participate in guild dungeon / trials runs.

So in a sense, when it comes to WW - Sky really has fallen.

Except now you will have differnt stuff beeing abused. You know that with Scalebreker you can buy entite guild skil lines on your alts ? So enjoy those Meteors, Dawnbreakers, and Undaunted passives on level 3 dudes lol. This is alredy happening on PC low level BGs & Cyro.

How can you give proper feedback after one day of the game being on console? Many people don’t even know what the new cheese is or even pay attention to the forums. There’s people testing new things and playing pve. There’s the people who can’t even play the first day of a patch launch.

And since a lot of people aren’t on the forums, discord or reddit they catch on as the patch moves a long.

Most of the Changes are pretty nice. Performance doesn't feel worse at the Moment, need to check it out in Trials to judge fully to be honest. Just a few annoying Buggs here and there, like the Guild History one.

I don't play PvP that often, but I used to play it for a few years. Thus I went through many METAs and Stuff, and personally think that People, who complain about the DoTs being too strong, are exaggerating.

PvE wise I mainly play Healers, so I am hit by quite a few Changes. Rapid Regeneration is OP, the new Springs seem okay. The Orb Change is still a little bit meh, because it's really unhandy for Situations, where the Group is split like Vas Hm.
Generally I think the Healer Changes are good, it'll take a little to adjust and to find something to do in the 4 seconds you have after putting most Buffs/Debuffs, Heals down.

The changes to healers were hard to get used too but after 1-2h in the new dlc dungeon and pvp(overall time I didn't take 2h to clear that dungeon lol)
I got used to it its alot sustain friendly in pve. In pvp I struggle a bit with 3k mag rec on my nb healer since I literally have to purge every 4-5 seconds but usually in our ball group we have a purge&negate build with a high mag recovery who does that so we should be fine.

Yes, I adjusted pretty quick yesterday. Bubbles were a bit Challenging tho! xD

The Sustain is more than buff, which means RIP my Kutas, as I'll have to re-enchant quite a few Jewelry Pieces from Mag Rec to Spell Damage. Also need to fully build my Healers(CP, Mundus) generally for this Patch, was too lazy yesterday, lol.
