KenjiJU✭✭✭Zone chat is completely locked down. Before you could extend your chat box a little bit to see the spammer's name, but now the messages are so long that the chat box isn't able to view the name.
I'm surprised there isn't some auto kick for endlessly spamming.2 -

Seriously, if you're not willing to put forth the effort to report them and do your part, then mods and GM's can't do theirs and ban them.
I am not spending a single penny on the game until changes are made to the game that I want to see.
1) Remove having to be in a guild to sell items to other players at a kiosk.
2) Cosmetic modding for armor and clothing.
3) Difficulty slider.
4) Fully customizable player housing that isn't tied to anything in the game other than having the correct resources and enough gold to build. Don't tie it to PvP, guild membership, or anything at all. Oh, make it instanced so as not to take up world map space, too. Zeni screwed this one up already.
Any /one/ of these things implemented would get me spending again, maybe even subbing.4 -

It surprises me that they didn't take into account the experiences of other MMO's in dealing with this common problem. It's hard to get rid of completely, but there are lots of tried and true mechanisms that have cut down on it significantly.

Actually, what they usually do is compromise fan websites. Not cheat websites at all. They get a hold of the email and password information. A lot of people sadly use the same password for everything. Then they either directly compromise the game itself, or they compromise your email and change the password to the game. Then they have full access to your ESO account and can spam.
It can be as simple as picking up a keylogger from an unsecured website, as well. I had a raid leader in WoW who visited an otherwise reputable addon site (WoWInterface, if anyone is wondering) back in Wrath, but on an unsecured browser. Well, the website sold ad space through a big, reputable company that didn't vet its ads. My raid leader moused over the ad on his unsecured browser and got a keylogger off that. Next thing we knew, his characters were all naked and on 7 different servers, and the guild bank was gone. It took weeks to get it all sorted, but he hadn't actually done anything wrong other than being stupid.0 -

The new issue now though is the big block of text that you can't report without adjusting your font size to something stupidly small. I also suggested limiting the text amount and no replies. This is a HUGE issue and will be worse come the 4th. It's unplayable with chat.

Started noticing gold sellers today. The game hasn't even finished early access yet... You'd think without an auction hall for effective selling, the amount of gold sellers would be incredibly slim... I guess not.0 -

CTraveler✭✭✭We've got a spammer right now who's practically filling chat with repeated lines. I've reported him atleast six times now, but I can't ignore him. The system just gives me an error "Busy processing Social request" or something like that...if at all.
EDIT: A restart of my client, and the bot was ignored properly. -_-;
Please, can't you guys at Zenimax set up a filter for this sort of thing? I really hope that anyone who has a hacked account can get it back, but even so, can't we ban anyone who's spamming this stuff?

I like the line/character limit, even a soft one. You can type as much as you want but every x line/characters it re-posts the username so even if the make massively long posts, you are guaranteed to see their name at least once if not twice.0 -
