So this is what IC is. Guess it's also my last time.
Never going back here until someone tell me this guy is banned and the exploit fixed.

If you went through the big center door youre only put in sanctuary for a brief time. Depending on the load screen length, he killed you when your sanctuary buff timed out.
Do not assume that some one who killed you is a cheater.

Just to be clear, as long as I got a loading screen, that means the server acknowledged the fact that I interacted with the door. You shouldn't be able to die in front of it after that.
Add to the fact that currently, I can't go near a fight in cyrodiil without being disconnected...

You mean I should get a master in door engineering. Sorry but I wouldn't have killed him in the first place if I didn't know what I was doing.
And it wasn't the center door.

I still remember the thread addressing that issue, but then people screamed and whined “get gud!”blistb16_ESO wrote: »Can we still get through door in cyrodill ? Such good times.

Door ganking was and still is a huge problem that was prevalent during the last pvp event. People were load screen ganking in the Cyrodiil towns farming pvers going for fetch quests. They never flipped the town, they purposefully left the town alone so unsuspecting pvers would travel there, go into the quest giver’s house, and be killed in the loading screen.

IMO, IC is only good for 1 thing: early morning PvE telvar farming. For actual PvP it sucks big time.Just another example of a long list of gaping flaws in ESO's PvP design, cheat or not. I went in IC -once- saw what an absurd maze it is, went right back out, never back other than to get dungeons or roll the awful, rigged loot table WGT chest, and I've been PvPing in MMOs for 20 years. Just imagine how someone new to PvP reacts.

Just imagine how someone new to PvP reacts. I'm not going to waste my gaming time learning some ridiculous maze to PvP or learning a bunch of sidegames in BG to do it either.
The fundamental core of any good MMO PvP system is a simple, usually 4v4 random arena with no premades and very simple few maps. Hop in, fight. Hop out. Allows new players to PvP to learn in a relatively simple environment and allows busy working people to get some fast PvP fun in. It's how GW1 did it, and almost every game has gotten it wrong since including this one, always biting off more than they can chew. Same for Cyrodiil.
And this, folks, is why the zone is mostly empty other than a handful of gank Telvar farmers and an occasional guild zerg. No debate possible, it is a completely wasted zone and empty as a matter of fact and not opinion, so spare any PR soft shilling or fanboi WKing.
