Since when is participating to social media "free time" for a community manager ? It looks to me tat it is entirely part of their job...
As to the post itself, it looks like humour to me... rather bad and misplaced humour, but then again, "gamer humour" is rather bad and misplaced most of the time in my opinion, because I'm not in either geek nor gaming culture, so I don't draw any conclusion of it.
Also, let's not forget that it may as well simply not be Gina.
As to the "hate" , well, people in general, and gamers in particular, love to "hate" (not sure why, but that's a fact). So yes, there are a couple of ZOS employees who are intentionally put in the front row, to represent the company and "show their face". Gina is the first one of them, she's ESO's face. So she attracts a lot of hate, blind and unfounded, but she also attracts a lot of love, just as blind and unfounded as the hate, but certainly nicer to hear.

We've gone this long without answers on Update 23. I'm pretty sure we can survive one weekend more

Give people a weekend off once in a while-- it's good for their mental health and maybe your soul...

This is about a Q&A regarding an update that's already done. Finito. Applied to the game over a week ago. All the Q&A is going to accomplish is satisfying people's curiosity. Nothing else is going to happen. Balance isn't going to rain from the words in a forum post. Lag isn't going to vanish once a few answers are given.

I think the update stinks, ZOS needs to fix the lag and the EU server, but railing on a social media person for making a mild joke over the weekend isn't going to do anything to make people's lives better in game or out.

This isn't Apex Legends, peeps. No devs have insulted anyone. Take a chill pill and the Q&A will be ready when it's done. Life will still go on.

I would not bother. The Q&A has been posted, so this is sort of a pointless discussion, now. She has been in Germany this week, and she has probably had numerous responsibilities related to that whole event. They are posted. 'Nuff said.
