I just read that on twitch chat. Was that a bad joke, and she actually hasnt enough information yet regarding the questions of a specific forum topic .... or was it true. I mean i do understand you cant always just track forums and have some free time and all. But is this the proper way to communicate that? It confuses me, I am really up for explanations also by users "knowing" gina better from reading than me. this line is pretty meme-worthy for all the bad days zos lacks of communication...

Well after 5 years of trying to defend or explain ZOS mistakes over and over again, I can see how she can get a little desensitized after awhile.

Ppl need to toughen the hell up. She gets crap from us all the time MOST of the stuff is senseless things that cant happen ir are not easly implemented. The average forum for has no clue the true amount of work that goes in to each fix or implementation. And to top it off there is nothing insensitive it's not like other companies that LITERALLY told ppl to f off.

That sounds like something Gina would say. There is nothing in the above image quote that is evil or insensitive to the players. It comes off as self-deprecating, if anything.

Also, she is in Germany for a convention. Apparently, her passport issue was resolved. Either that or she stowed away in someone's luggage.

uh...err..ehm i also find it okay, to expect, when something really bad happens that it would be nice of ur workers to be up for a saturday or sunday to work, still it has to be balanced out as fast as possible, when this happens.

Leave her alone. She's got a tough job being stuck in between us who are frequently cranky and the money hungry turds at ZOS. I'm sure she would love the game to function flawlessly. She gets a lot of hate directed at her when it should be directed at other ZOS people. She's literally just the messenger.

i was pointing on the question, wether the way she is communicating that fits. I recognized a lot of memes, funquotes and pictures going round and also in my guilds a lot of hating on her ( i also kicked people from the guild for overstepping clear borders), not to mention the twitter hack which was extremely awfull. i am no big fan of her in general, but i also dislike especially the misogynist and sexist hating i read in the past. on the other side i can't get around the perception, that her kind of humour sometimes is a bit off (for my personal taste), since its often putting a finger into sore/wound spots of people, so basically she seems to accidently provoce bad memes of her herself. thats all i have been pointing on.

tho if a majority says, they like that humor and its okay for them, i am okay with that. i wanted feedback on that thought, thats all.

I don't give a hoot what she's doing on a Saturday morning, but *if* that was Gina, and considering what's been going on, then I struggle to understand why she'd make such a baiting remark. As for her being on her private time, that doesn't really apply when you're part of the communication team *and* you're chatting publicly *and* on your company's twitch channel. Kind of comes with the job.

She's posted off-color remarks before. I don't think she is a gamer and to her this game is kid's stuff. That may be true in any other context, but this forum. I don't find her attitude well-suited to her job or I just don't get her sense of humour, I suppose.

Without context, it's difficult to determine if she was on strictly personal time or was active in a social medium in which she historically answered employment-related questions.

My employees are discouraged from identifying their employment roles in private social media for their own protection and to avoid 'loose threads' in the fabric of the company's marketing/communications plan. I have no idea on ZoS's policy or even if there is a coordinated marcomm plan. It's a private firm.

Nevertheless, this thread and a certain pic that was converted to a meme can be used as examples of how important it can be to separate personal social media identities from employment. This is not an easy task, especially at upper management and customer-facing levels, which is why I merely chuckled and chalked the post up to snark from an employee frazzled after an especially difficult week.

LOL. Yeah, I am pretty sure she is a gamer at this point. I think people read a lot more into things than what is necessary, or even warranted. I have seen cases IRL where people seem to deliberately read something negative into a situation just so they can complain about it.

There was nothing evil or insensitive in that statement.

You realize people do work on Saturdays and some do start at 7 am. Take me for example I’m a electrician, legit woke up today at 5:50, arrived at my job site at 6:45 and started prepare my gear to work at 7.
