Apparently they will be rewarded by doing nothing and letting them benefit from their unethical behaviors. I get it was not the players fault but still they should not benefit from this mistake made by ZoS.
ZoS seems reluctant to even communicate that this should be corrected.

ZOS have said they're working on a resolution, so we'll have to wait and see. I imagine that it's not a straightforward issue to fix, and they'll want to be sure it's fully tested before announcing it. They may also want to defer any announcement until the servers have been taken down to implement it should they be considering firm action against those who unwisely exploited the situation so as not to give any warning of what they were intending.
That said, the continuing silence since yesterday's update is somewhat disconcerting, not least as we're not that far off the first anniversary of their commitment to improve communications!

I'm guessing I missed something, how were player able to earn billions i'v never had more this 1/2 a million at one time is there a bug or something?
