Why should players with subs already should be compensated?!?! Why do you even consider this?!
Are we losing anything because ZOS is trying to get more people to sub?!?!
This makes no sense imo.

But I'm one of those or almost. 15$ here is a lot and I subscribed from time to time. And that's what I did yesterday. This is the second or third time it happens to me, I subscribe, boom, ESO+ free trial.
It's ok if you don't want to give us crates anymore, but pleeease can you pause the subscription so we don't feel like idiots for giving you money?
Do you want to put those 1500 crowns on pause as well? Its just not realistic.
How do you compensate someone who pays for a year up front?

The only thing it doesn't provide is the crown allotment and the ESO+ exclusive items in the crown store. I don't consider that limited at all.

So would the crown allotment be "paused" during that time? You can't have it both ways (or shouldn't).
It should be either a paid subscription or a free subscription.

If they decide to give away free time for sub after I've already purchased time and during the time that I purchased then I should not be charged for the free time they decided to give away. That's their promo time, my paid for time should not be running during that time.
If they can give all accounts a week of access to eso+ without that account paying for it then they can tack on an additional amount of time to the end of someone's paid for sub time. It's real simple. Give the people all the instant benefits of the sub when they pay for it, (crowns, statuette, w/e else,) but if free time is given then, simply by the fact that people paid for time, they should get the time they paid for. Said time, might I add, which was supplanted by the free time, and the way to do this would simply be to extend the current sub end date by however much time was supplanted by free time.
