Spawn camping bots

Today I saw a really blatant form of botting - absolutely no question.
Two players in Bearclaw mine, spawn camping the boss.

These two players were moving in absolute synchronism. They were standing in the same position and moving exactly together. They would attack the boss, loot then remain stationary over the spot where it died until a fresh spawn. Then instantly and together they would turn, move to the boss again and kill it within a second or two.

It was impossible for anyone else to get a shot in.

this prevalent in EVERY dungeon in game at the minute im afraid, lucky you only saw a couple of bots, most places i've been have a freaking army camped out on the boss

I've never been quite sure - I don't like to accuse people. But this time there was no mistake.

good lol, i spent at least an hour the other day in Emberflint Mine painstakingly taking names and reporting them one by one along with screenies, went back a day later and.......... still there

I've found one bot lvl 8 in Emberflint Mine, It was ridiculous because mostly of times it got killed unless someone attacked the mobs. The bot had auto attack and resurrection. It didn't move so at some point it got pushed out of the area by the Clannfear's charges. lol

odd, usually its a big group of them that zergs it in less than a second, here's hoping maybe Zenimax removed some of them, i'll take a look next time im there, but its not just this dungeon, this was just an example, i come across it in nearly every dungeon i have encountered so far, next to impossible to get a completion as unable to get a shot off at the boss before it dies

If you are having a hard time getting credit for the bosses and therefore the achievement for the dungeon I recommend using an AoE skill to tag the boss. It might take a few attempts to get the timing right but it works for me.

If you are a summoner I also recommend casting Storm Atronach between the botters and the boss.

Edit: I know it can take a lot of time to report a mass of players but it's better to do a lot of it now than have to do for the next 5 years.

The problem you face is that these bots are often on the upper edge of the level. They hit extremely hard and fast. Even if you do manage to get a couple of shots off, it's likely that you won't do enough damage to register as having contributed. (I don't know what the required damage level is )

Most AoE skills tick relatively slowly and for quite small amounts. I suspect even the Atronach wouldn't register a hit.

Yeah, even if they were multiboxing, they'd have to run a program on one of the characters to mimic the others to the exact. Multiboxing may be legal, but that program is not.

It works. That is how I have been getting credit for the achievements.

The bots already hit the higher levels. Seen them in a level 35 dungeon today. I'm sure those people were already reported a week ago, but Zenimax just can't handle the amount of tickets.

They would imho save so much time if one employee would simply swipe the dungeons 2x per day. I mean those bots are so obvious...

You only have to do some damage to get credit for the kill and complete the dungeon. You have to contribute more, however, to get a drop off the corpse. But yes, the spawn campers are a PITA.
