I've found one bot lvl 8 in Emberflint Mine, It was ridiculous because mostly of times it got killed unless someone attacked the mobs. The bot had auto attack and resurrection. It didn't move so at some point it got pushed out of the area by the Clannfear's charges. lol

The problem you face is that these bots are often on the upper edge of the level. They hit extremely hard and fast. Even if you do manage to get a couple of shots off, it's likely that you won't do enough damage to register as having contributed. (I don't know what the required damage level is )
Most AoE skills tick relatively slowly and for quite small amounts. I suspect even the Atronach wouldn't register a hit.
