    This happened two me today as well I had to alt 4 the screen where I relogged in but was back in deshaan. I tried twice more with no luck. All times having to alt 4 after 10-20 minute load screens. After that I gave up.

    What's funny is I was playing cryodiil with no issues what so ever. Last night.

    I just left and every time I died the loading screen took so long I had to alt f4 and relog in. A shame you can't play without reloading so much. There wasn't any lag though once you got back in.

    I've found out that if your alliance is full on that current campaign, its best not to try because you will get stuck at a loading screen. The only thing I've known to work is wait for the key-lock on your alliance to not be there, and then jump in asap.

    Works for me every time, and its like they lock you out due to the server being full, but they should do it before you get stuck on a loading screen, rather than having to exit the game entirely. According to getting any help, well, good luck. I havnt held my breath, and if you read whats going on with them, you shouldn't either.

    Im just going to try and get 15k alliance points, and choose a different home campaign.

    That's a great observation. I will try that!

    Yup I will verify that is true too. The other night I tried to drunkenly log into Cyrodil but it was keyed up so I kept freezing. When I tried to get in last night with a smaller campaign size it worked fine.

    This also happened to me. I would go to the Campaigns Screen and select Enter Campaign". After I got the message "Solo Access Available. Expires in...." I would Right click the message and select "Travel To Campaign" and I would get stuck on the "cyrodiil loading screen" everytime and have to exit out of the game and reload. What I did discover however is that after selecting "Enter Campaign" from the campaign screen and waiting for the notification I could enter, instead of selecting "Travel To Campaign" from the campaign screen, I went to Notifications and entered the campaign from the notifications screen. I could enter every time successfully from the notifications screen :)

    I had exactly the same problem. Not only once but multiple times - different days, different times, different chars.

    Same issue here. I tried both my home campaign that was nearly full and a guest one that was low population. Each time, the screen locked loading Cyrodiil. I finally got in on the 4th try, then it locked again when I moved to a different keep. Pretty frustrating to be locked out of the game all together, since I'm trapped in Cyrodiil and can't get to it (to get out to somewhere else).

    Same issue. Doesn't matter if my campaign is full or not, If I try to enter, I get locked in the loading screen. Yesterday I tried it at least 8 times before I decided to leave the screen loading to see if anything will happen. After 45mins still nothing, so I gave up and went to bed. ruined my evening :-(
    Please fix this ZO.

    I keep getting stuck in a loading screen in The Castle of the Worm quest, if I die I have to jump out of the game and restart the whole quest. Maybe 4th time's a charm.

    The only thing that works so far is keep trying to reboot your game and retry... It crashed for me too in loading screen but if you retry a couple of times, you get loaded in like 5seconds. I think it has to do whenever the servers are full and U can't get in.
  • terovian2000b14_ESO
    I'm having the same issue. Heck, I even get stuck on these loading screens when I'm using Transitus stones in Cyrodiil or when I'm being taken back to a shrine after a death. Always have to shut down the game and log back in.

    This is a minor issue comparing to everything else they got to fix though. ZeniMax just tried too much too fast and now they are about to crash and burn. The only time company doesn't post updates and continues to stay silent is when they absolutely have no idea what to do.

    It's just so sweet when you like a varied mix of pvp, pve that eso would allow us the honor of alt 4ing 3 or 10 times a day just to transition from one to the other, so frustrating

    Or they're waiting to show us what they fixed, when they take down the servers monday for maintenance and throw a fat patch at us.

    I find it hard to believe ZOS is forgetting about its community, even with all the troubles some people have been having, as ive noticed things have been getting fixed, slowly, but surely.

    I just can't believe how absurdly vast the array of issues are. Every aspect of the game I try, I continue to come across something making it increasingly difficult to achieve or enjoy. It baffles me that they expect people to keep paying a sub fee with this extremely unfinished product.

    They knew about these issues during beta - no fixes for the important ones. They knew going live would bring more issues. They still went live.

    I have been keeping a list of bugs and issues I come across. There are 74 since starting my character and leveling to VR1 right now. When I run into an issue I try a different approach to avoid it being too much of a road block, but that just leads me to more issues in a different part of the game.

    Trying PvP at VR1 was always my plan, but I can't even load a match and I have to use a Microsoft out command (alt+f4) as so many others have just to get out of the load screen bug. Which proves the concerns are based around in-completed programming.

    There are many arguments and so many of those are from others saying things like "stop bitching its still a good game" and "they will fix this eventually" and "relogging usually helps 70% of issues." fair arguments. The game (bar the issues) is a quality title. That doesn't change the fact that this game is VERY far from a finished product. Maybe 6-10 months of solid work so the programmers can get a handle on what seems to be a lot of very small issues, but from a programmer's perspective can take a solid amount of time to figure out.

    While the game is live I'm assuming it will take a lot longer and a lot of issues will remain unresolved, due to the time they will now need to have to deal with live customers and constant support.

    Prediction: The MMO 'honeymoon' phase will keep customers for a few months, while people like me will keep pushing the topic - as it's important for Bethesda / ZOS to feel pressured about the way their customers are feeling. This won't last, however and you can't really say it's a credible business 'buying time' and putting several years of hard work with a very large team along with developer reputation on the line. People will simply stop paying. Because their question will remain "what are we paying for if we aren't receiving quality?"

    Gamers have a reputation of jumping ship when they don't believe they get a product they are paying for. They also have a reputation for leaving in large quantities. Right now, how this is dealt with will really determine whether this game makes it or not.

    In Skyrim it was funny when corpses would slide on the ground and your mount would go flying into the abyss. But this isn't a simple campaign based single player experience. This is the real deal and in an MMO these issues can't stay in a title that currently is one of the most (if not the most) expensive MMOs out there, in a world where MMOs are considered a dime a dozen and a large portion of those (even a lot of quality titles) are F2P - without the issues.

    Yes I'm ranting. Yes I'm annoyed. But more importantly I need people to jump on board with me and continue to push the developers to man up, take some responsibility for their shady business dealings and lack of ownership for just this.

    I need people to click agree, repost, post your own annoyance, start new threads and basically spread word and become heard. This is the best way to get things fixed. When customers threaten how lucrative their business is, they either listen or become another corpse in the tally of fallen MMO titles.

    It's up to us.

    Last night after some testing we found:

    Dont port to Cyr while in a group. Leave group, join campaign or Port to Cyr. Then re-join the group.

    This is not a fix: This is one way we found to remedy the loading, this worked for 6 out of 7 people in our group last night.

    This guy. I like this game, but for ***'s sake I CANNOT GET MY MAIN TO LOG BACK IN!!! Seriously, this's screwed up. I shouldn't be unable to play simply because of bugged code and a failure to make a statement similar to,
    if (campaignPopulation == populationLimit) {
    teleportPlayer(lastPvEzone);
    }

    WTF Lazy-ass programmers, this is a rather important, game-impeding bug, and if you like your jobs and want this project to continue, I recommend you fix it before people jump ship on their free 30-days. I already unsubscribed the subscription and am waiting for a damn good reason to resubscribe...like, maybe a solid DAY of no game crashes or server-side errors/bugs that make it unplayable???

    20 min to get to Cyrodil (after 2 reboots) get the kill quest and try to us shrine to get to the fight. 1 reboot to get there, get killed and tried to revive, a couple more reboots ended back at the starting place. Tried to leave Cyrodil and now I'm stuck on loading screen for Greenshade. I gave up, 1 hour of game time and I got a quest! This is really bad...........

    I got into Cyrodiil perfectly fine, but after taking a castle and running to the next one I got killed by some Covenant idiot. I had the option of waiting 10 minutes to respawn there, or respawn "instantly" back at the castle I was just at.

    Naturally I chose to respawn at the castle, so I waited as the loading screen came up... and waited some more... and some more... Half an hour later I Alt+F4 it and re log. I get back to the loading screen and wait... and wait... and you guessed it, waited some more. I've currently been waiting for nearly 2 hours, just so I can try and get my character back out of Cyrodiil and not suffer this any longer.

    I lowered my graphics settings to enter Cyrodiil. It worked, but once I was in, I tried to increase it a little and got hit with the infinite load. I exited the game and tried to log back in with the lowest graphic settings, and the game refuses to load.
