I remember in BETA I knew I wanted to be part of DC so in Beta I played every class up to the ending of Betnikh but never finished it to go to Daggerfall as I didn't want to "spoil" anymore of the game for myself.
So when the game came out and I finished Betnikh, my favorite memory is walking off that boat and just looking at what looked like a gigantic walled city with towers everywhere. The sun was out with a nice glare and I just remember thinking "This really does look so beautiful!!! I could live here..". I always remember the feeling of excitement when I look back on it and sometimes I just run down to the docks in Daggerfall to "relive" it.
That really hooked me into the game and keeps me going, the scenery at some spots in this game is just amazing.
Before One Tamriel. When i reached Fort Virak in the Stonefalls questline, i saw a bridge past it going northwest. I looked at the map, seeing it went to Skyrim, and had an "OH COOL" moment. When i loaded into The Rift and walked up the road a ways, i received a firm handed notice that i had left my lvl15 land of teddy bears via a bypass directly into the land of lvl45 bullies. I knew then this game had some tough areas and i needed to level.
I also had a lesson from a guy on the zombie beach at Sentinel. I had gotten the idea that you can farm those zombies for PURPLE GEAR which was super duper good... He ran into me and taught me the importance of gear sets, skills to use, weapons etc. At the time, i had already reached like Vet Lvl 4.
Then there was the time i got invited to my first guild by the guy i tried selling a Malachite to.

The satisfaction when you finally master your class after all the pain in PvP is top tier.
