which mostly are the lowdps ppl who couldn't handle fast paste combat and rather lazy style of 9 dots rotations
since they realized they can do 2k more dps their happy brain decided to ignore every other messed up aspects of this patch ..

The game's combat still runs at the same speeds as before. So I have no idea what it means to say people who like this patch couldn't handle "fast paced combat". That makes no sense to me.

I meant for fast paced rotations , in this patch when you go to back bar and put all your dots even with slowest responses when you switch to main bar you still have 2-3 seconds left of you main bar dots so you can take your time and since you don't have spammble you just refresh those dots which had 3seconds left .
but last patch you had to make it as quick as possible with dots cuz your damage was also depended to spammbles , you had to keep your dots to its extension so you can do more spammbles . game running at the same speed but new rotations are way slower . got it ?

I PVE its very annoying, too. My magplar rotation is literally 1234 swap 12345 swap ... and it hits insane number. But i start to fall asleep in raids.
And to the ppl who say "But before is was dead in 1s, because of retardet Burst", every burstcombo was easy to counter you just needed to block or dodge at the right time. But thats needs knowlage of you enemy and the game.
For me this patch is - . . . . . . or translated - dot dot dot dot and more dot.
DOTS are not fun. They are essentially little clocks taking away resources or HP. Some find it challenging with dot builds. I'm the opposite - I like action, burst stuff, dots should be 30% or less.
I tried to like what they did, but so far, I feel like I'm forcing myself to like it. Forcing yourself to love something means you natively, instinctively don't like it.
I'll take dots any day over ridiculous burst rotations that kill you near instantly. There is nothing fun about that.
Let me ask you - how do you stay alive when several people apply same dots at the same time (e.g. degeneration) AND do burst damage? Shields have been nerfed, healing ward too. Please tell me, maybe I'm missing something.
What's your resistances and health?
Because it should be easier for you to defend against gradual damage than massive spikes of damage.

You can't block or dodge while you are stunned, which is of course what always happens right before the almighty synchronized burst kicks in. So this idea that it took so much more "skill" to stun/slaughter everyone is a joke.
It looks like players are now going to have to deal with players who can actually fight back now. And that's a good thing. No more running around a tree while waiting for your ultimate so you can get an automatic kill on someone - which was utterly stupid.

You realise that you can block or doge most stunns. Execept Fossilise.
But i agree that burst dmg builds were way to hard to kill. With fury and seventh.

People are not mind readers though. So it's just not reasonable to expect people to be able to block and dodge to avoid stuns. You're going to get stunned. And getting stunned shouldn't mean instant death - which is basically what it meant against good players. It was way over the top.
The shift in focus to damage over time provides gradual damage and allows for more defensive options. Because there is no defense against stun/instant death. Even with 50k health, 35k resistance in all impenetrable I would die almost instantly. It was ridiculous and anything but fun.
At least you can still move and heal while DoTs are on you (which makes a huge difference). So it is a marked improvement on allowing for "counter play" over the old system where you had to be a mind reader and preemptively block incoming stuns to avoid death.

The entire forum is a really teeny tiny small portion of the players. Human nature says we are more apt to make an effort to complain when we don't like something than take the time to state we do like something. There is no honest way you can look at feedback in the forums and claim it represents the player base.

These new rotations are brain dead and lack any real distinguishing characteristics from one another. The skill level for this patch is low. That might be a good thing for newer players or others that couldn't, up to this point involve themselves in end game content. But its horribly dull for me, see you all when ZOS is done with this "audit" that conspicuously couldnt be carried out on a private server with a focused dev team and top notch game testers. Im still confused how any of these changes help them do anything related to class balance, because you drastically change something and then do an audit. Thats not how audits work.
I know this will get deleted, but at least someone from the zos team will read it and get all huffy.
I am confused, how is 34251 any more or less skillful than 41523?
Changing skills on the buttons you push for a rotation is still just pushing a sequence of buttons repeatedly. Only skill there is would be picking which skills to put on the bar and then it becomes knowledge not a skill.
Seems what really happened is people do not like how the knowledge of what to put on your bar has changed. After all mashing 5 buttons in a sequence has not gotten any harder or easier.

Yep you just said you couldn't live with max resistances and 50k health..... Bro learn to play that is why you like a dot meta lol. You clearly have no idea on how PvP actually works because 26-30k hp builds with max resistances and great damage can live in PvP with multiple people attacking you but yet you couldn't?
It's no wonder why you think there is no counterplay to the meta before lacing people with dots 😂😂😂😂😂
Or let me guess you just added dots to your tank build? 50k health max resistances spamming dots/heals 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 real fun gameplay instead it takes so much skill to do that.......
