Is Craglorn main quest soloable?

I've heard yes, at least from a difficulty perspective. But someone once told me there's a quest where you and someone else have to throw a switch or something at the same time, and it has to be a player. Am I getting that right? It was a while ago. Maybe I'm wildly wrong or maybe it's patched out. Can you finish as a single player?

I remember having this problem a long time ago, but I also recall that when I did it with other character some time later, the mechanic for opening of the door changed and it was doable solo.

I have done it like 1-2 years ago and they had changed the switches so that a solo player can do the various instances alone.

Yep. I've soloed it on multiple characters. You can also solo all the quest hubs (like Shada's Tear, Skyreach Catacombs, etc.). It's a bit tougher than other zones (about on par with a level I normal dungeon), but still easy.

You can solo most of Craglorn. May want to grab some friends for the World Bosses.

they changed the main quest to be actual solo, not "git gud" solo. for completionist achievement and various optional group areas - you may or may not need a group, depending. there are 2 group quests in completionist - mage one requires world boss kills, so for that you may need a group. the other one is much more doable. as far as i know, none of them have any mechanics that absolutely require a second player (like switches) anymore.

The only quest you'll have a hard time soloing is the one where you have to fight 3 (I think it's 3) bosses and not the altar ones but the ones where you have to shatter a crystal. But when I've done it I have had no problems finding help, especially since so many just stand around being bored. in betnikh waiting for a trial

You can solo it. I did last year. There's only one quest where you might have some difficulty solo'ing and that's the one that has you go to the different Magical Anomoly sites, which are considered world bosses of a sort. But besides that one quest, the quest combat difficulty is about the same as the base game, only maybe slightly tougher.

I did it solo last year with a terrible, very squishy magicka Warden, so it should be a walk in the park with a yummy piece of cake for any real player.

Craglorn mainquest is easily soloable ever since OneTamriel.
...the sidequests tho are still the old groupy stuff... as are half the dwelves.

Main quest can be soloed by anyone. It's difficulty is the same as any other mainland overland quests.

Depending on your general dps and how well you do in Vet group dungeons, all the delves are entirely soloable as well. The only thing which you shouldn't try solo are the world bosses (well maybe some can be done) and those purple glowing portals.

It is disappointingly easy to finish Craglorn quests now; apart from the one which needs world bosses killed off. I had to team up for that.

Thanks guys. Well, I am up to the shattered and the lost and can't do those world bosses alone. How can I gather someone to help? I've never really used chat or anything in this game. I don't suppose there's world bosses in the activity or group finder or whatever menus?

Yes, easily. My first run was with my magplar and now I'm about 50% through it on my stamsorc.

Yes, the Main quest in Craglorn which ends in a random Nirn item is soloable.

1 main quest is meant to be soloed, and 1 main quest is meant to be grouped. They both can be soloed depending on your build and ability, though.

No, there are only group dungeons in the groupfinder. The shattered and the lost quest is impossible to complete solo because of those three anomalies that are required to recharge the stones. Some players say they have soloed those anomalies but I don't believe them.

I've soloed some of the pink bag repeatables. It's not funny though and be prepared to invest a couple of hours (depending on how thoroughly you want to explore the delve) because the phases reset if you leave and come back. Then you have to fight the bosses all over again.

As I've almost finish to clear Craglorn ; Yes, totally solo-able.
Take 1 self heal, or shield, care to some mob attack and all will be ok.

I soloed an anomaly two days ago. It took like 30 minutes, but I did it. I didn't have to solo the other two because someone else was there already fighting it when I arrived, but I would have if nobody else was there.
