Setting up as a glass cannon in PVE is about right. It's basically the best place you can play like that and utilize sets that are created for this job. Running low on res with light (magicka) or medium (stamina) sets usually comes with better sustain, too. And to avoid death there are the three golden rules: 1. step out of bad stuff, 2. have wonderful healers and 3. have wonderful tanks.OlumoGarbag wrote: »What i really dont get is. You only need to spec into dps for PVE. But wouldnt it make more sense, that harder content needs you to have more sustain, resistance and health to not instantly die.

It's not a matter of DPS needing to build for more survivability. That's perfectly fine. Many, less experienced, groups do that already. The problem is that, with the recent changes, DPS and tanks can provide enough self and group healing that dedicated healers often won't be needed for easier content (even easier trials) while the same dedicated healers won't provide enough additional healing to keep a group alive in harder content where the group is taking high, sustained damage. No matter if you like PvE or not, I don't think anyone really wants to see an entire role, which many enjoy playing, made all but obsolete.
