Can we please have outfit slots account wide rather than character wise , the amount of crowns required is just atrocious.

Then people might actually buy them, I would get a few if they were account wide but I’ll never touch an individual one.

For a character bound thing they are way too overpriced. And what if you decide to delete the character? This should work like costumes and be account wide or at least transferrable between characters.

But lets not kid ourselves. It's not going to change. There's a 37 page thread about this and we barely got any response.

Absolutely, they are ridiculously over priced. Outfit slots should either be far far cheaper, or account wide, either way works for me.

I'll sign on for this too, but we've been complaining about it since it was introduced to no avail.

As one of those who really likes having multiple outfits for my characters, it's really depressing that I can't (won't) pay extortionate prices for the slots (and absurd gold costs for most of the items when added to an outfit...).

meh got 10 slots on my main and some on alts

and i will gladly buy another 10 for same char if they'll be available (10 slots is...nothing)

instead of *making threads and pressure* that will lead nowhere

Unfortunately it will never happen. As it is they make the most amount of money with people being forced to buy them 1 at a time for absurd prices. Since there are no doubt some whales out there buying full slots for all characters, doing this would cheat them because they now payed up to 14x the price that others would.

I did not select an answer to the poll for multiple reasons.

First, there are people who already purchased outfit slots on multiple characters and there is no real means to address that properly.

Second, for business reasons Zos is not going to change the current offering to account wide. They may offer a more expensive account wide option but not what OP is asking for. In other words, the poll is pointless.

before other ppl start opening similar pointless topic - yes players are FOR any changes that reduces hassle and incentive to buy convenience by opening things up from a character to account - WHAT A SURPRISE

and no zos will not share the same opinion for the exact same reason - WHAT A SURPRISE

It'd be awesome (not to mention, logical), but if they haven't replied in a 30+ pages ongoing topic about it, I'm not holding much hope they'll ever do something it.

There are so many free outfit slots in the game through various methods that you don’t really need it account-wide.

Not that it matters ... it’s not a change ZOS is going to embrace.

This is like asking for account wide mount training. Sure it would be nice, and there is really no reason other than $$$ that it's not that way, but I wouldn't recommend holding your breath waiting for a change.

Actually, It's not the same. Riding training you can get for no cost by playing the game daily for 6 months. The outfit slot to the best of my knowledge (Noob Player) can only be purchased with crowns.

I was not even aware that people used them. I just go to the outfit station and change my current one if I feel like a change.

I didn't even know that this was a thing.

Yeah yeah yeah, they are both character driven crown store purchases that I am guessing bring in a decent amount of revenue. If anything, i would argue that mount training is the far bigger issue because its mandatory for end game content and while it is available in game , its time gated (and does cost 45000 gold). People buy LOTS of riding lessons, I assure you because even ignoring the gold, 6 months of waiting isn't exactly "free."

Every character gets an outfit slot by default and they are purely cosmetic. Of course its a cash grab on their end, but there isn't really a compelling argument on the other side of this one, other than, hey corporations should just be nice and give stuff away. Outfits slots were designed with the crown store in mind.

My position stands. Dont hold your breath, because this aint changing.

And? I want separate immersive outfits for different environments, warm with fur for snow, plate armor for castle-like locations, light outfits for desert and beaches, tight clothes for windy areas and loose for jungles and so on.
Paying half of game cost for each outfit for each character seems "a little bit" overpriced.

    Sure there is.

They must have records of purchase history. They can refund crowns for slot overages. It wouldn’t be that hard. Or it shouldn’t be, if business ethics wasn’t a complete oxymoron with this company.

Businesses exist to make money. That is their main purpose. People get paid a lot of money to study price points. Those people then advise the company on what prices will generate the best income. To high and buyers might shy away from a purchase. To low the number of buyers doesn't offset the revenue loss caused by low price. Somewhere in the middle is where you will find most products across the entire business spectrum. It isn't greed it is business.

I don't disagree - I just never realized that people needed more than one outfit slot.

Honestly, 1500 crowns for an outfit slot seems expensive even if they were account-wide.
