There are a couple of things that I had hoped would have made the game by now, but just seem to not make it...

1. Hair Dyeing - We have many different styles of hair we can choose, plus we can change the color of our weapons and armor, so why can't we finally change the color of our hair?
2. Usable Mannequins - Just like Skyrim, it would be great to have usable mannequins we can dress up in a complete armor/weapon set (and have that look appear on the mannequin). It would be so handy for those of us that have characters that wear multiple armor sets and get sick of carrying everything.
3. Reintroduce Hireling mail arriving at once. - Back in the day, any hireling mail we were due would arrive to the first character we'd log in on, unfortunately people worked out a way to get high level mats out of the lower level materials that were sent to you. Surely the Devs can work on this and put a fix on it instead of removing it entirely. It's a slow process having to log in 18 characters twice a day to receive what we should be getting.

Anymore ideas you guys thing we should get?

I agree with 2 and 3 but would hesitate to use 2, would not put it past them to screw up the storage somehow, got no desire to lose a set I farmed/paid gold to get.

I would probably just craft CP150 stuff with a cool motif and put those on the mannequins in place of statues around my house.

1, I doubt they would ever add, because they want you to buy the character change tokens.

    1. Hair Dyeing
    Should definitely be a thing!
I would really -love- it tho if all equipped "hair dyes" unequipped automatically as soon as you take a swim in the water... ;)
    2. Usable Mannequins
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VKTfOje29Wk

But that aside, yeah, like in the "Scarlet Judge" house.
    3. Reintroduce Hireling mail arriving at once.
Since the hirelings are tied to characters due to skill points used to unlock them, and the character info is loaded only when logging into the character... I don't see this being likely.
Anymore ideas you guys thing we should get?
    I would want...

...a outfit syestem for our mounts, to at least dye the saddle and stuff to match our characters armor. Maybe even have some options for style choices (like, which kind of saddlebags we want)!

...adornments, warpaints/makeup, hair and hats added to the outfit system, so we can have different hairstyles or makeup for different outfits!

...an option to switch off those annoying "premature quest-givers"... tell Sturga to wait with the looking until -after- the mainstory is done, same for all the others, they ought to remember the right time for this and only start calling out to our characters when the right point in the storyline comes along! (or better yet, make that the default and let people -manually- start those questlines if they want to do them earlier!)

...more life in some of the side cities! Some bigger regions have more then one "large town", but all too many of them just neglect the second place, having bank and crafting options in the main place only. I always found that a tad disappointing... like, that there is no bank and vending houses in balmorra of all places. Would be nice to see some refits...

    ...

    And of course, the "usual":

I'd really like usable mannequins too - a great way to add some customisation to housing and to show off outfit styles.

I'm also desperate - as are so many others - for additional furnishing slots for housing. It seems that houses are getting bigger and bigger, so the max upper limit of 700 is inadequate these days. It's a shame too, as I see most people who are into housing spending the most on crowns and other items that keep the game going.

Finally, I really want class change tokens in the game. At this point I might want them more because I know it will really aggravate die-hard forum warriors who just want to spoil everyone else's game than because I'd really like to move my main from DC to AD.

And it would be such a neat idea if they sold "100 extra furniture slots", up to doubling the house base capacity...

    That would be alliance change.
Which totally ought to be a thing... as I said the last time this came up:
Though I still say, IF alliance change, then Done RIGHT!

And by that I don't mean some token that pops your character to a new alliance, I do indeed mean a whole guild-DLC sized questline with an cloak and dagger (Or since this is ESO, "hood and dagger", perhaps?) spycraft flavor and a "faction loyalty called in question" plot, where you get to make a big choice in the middle - stay loyal to your alliance and prove yourself, or turn your back on them and defect to greener pastures elsewhere...

With the second half (or two thirds, or whatever) of the questline being different depending on your choice - either uncovering the one who actually framed you, mobilize your old and trusted allies to gather support and track down the true conspiracy while dodging the agents sent to bring you in; or preparing your escape, dodging the agents sent to arrest you, courting your desired new friends while grabbing some juicy secrets on the way out to sweeten the deal, etc.

Such a story could have a neutral city as "spycraft" focal point (like vienna during the cold war, where spies and agents often went to spy hard between the two sides - for ESO it could be some place between the alliances, a former imperial town declared "free city" after the fall of the empire in northern nibenay, eastern colovia or western skyrim, perhaps, or even an post-anchorite-war isle of stirk...), but otherwise take you all over the old faction regions, possibly revisiting a few one-time-only maps with new mobs... and perhaps even meeting a few familiar faces (come on, wouldn't you love to slam a porticullis shut into Razum-dars face as you hop on a boat bound to Morrowind with thre adorable Naryu? ;) )

Such a questline could even have special titles depending on what you choose... "[original faction] Loyalist" or "[original faction] Defector"... obviously it would be a one-time only event, thus making serial defectors that change alliance depending on which one is currently top in cyrodil that some people always fear when this topic comes up an impossibility.

And it also might have drawbacks for PvP, like... reduced AP gain for several months, since noone fully trusts a traitor... or maybe having to re-earn all the AP up to your current rank before you start progressing again, representing your efforts to convince your new allies of your trustworthyness... and definitely increased AP rewards if a member of your original faction takes you down, because...
    Star_wars_traitor_gif_by_mrarcadium-daafqoh.gif
    :)
(there could even be a daily "hunt traitor" mission, and defectors from your PvP-characters alliance in cyrodil getting an visual clue while that mission is active...)

Also, this could be a option to add new factions to PvP.
And yes, those could be "crown store unlocks"...
Like... have options to not just defect to one of the other two alliances, but also "go rogue" and join a new "Outlaw" faction (...black color and jolly roger flag, perhaps? Would be hostile to -every- other faction in cyrodil, and spawn at some new but unsecured base, thus very susceptible to enemy raids - trials of being an outlaw in the face of organized armies); or an "Imperial Remnant" faction (purple imperial diamond flag, spawning in some ill-secured legion base somewhere, possibly at the nibenay border, and also fighting everyone else, but turning all the "imperial" NPCs in cyrodil non-hostile?), or a "neutral" faction that is "yellow" to everyone (green flag and incapable of capturing locations, spawning at various random merchant camps and such...)
Might be too complicated, but would still be interesting!

Another housing item I'd like to see, again from Skyrim, is being able to mount weapons, and maybe shields on walls around our houses.
Even the creation of weapon, armor and shield displays we can place. There are MANY examples already in game, we should be able to create such items ourselves.

    For me...

Riding tokens -some are locked to a character and others are not

Chairs in houses -so many houses have ground problems and chairs cannot be placed -constant annoyance -Murkmire platforms seem to have no ability to have a chair on them for whatever reason...

Pvp doors and siege -similar problem to above -due to crappy rendering can never see where siege can go and where it's mystically blocked by slightly higher dirt -whole group is dodging siege while trying to identify the best dirt, which of course then someone else uses...

Pvp - troll snipers who shot one arrow at a group on horseback, run away, and the poor person then needs to walk the entire rest of the map because apparently they are in combat -and if it's the healer..well that whole team's next 20mins is over/keep is gone la di da all because some bratty 12 yr old shot an arrow.

Lights - they're rubbish. At least get some consistency? Not much point having nice things if the glow covers 2 floor tiles. So many people have daedric spiky crap in their mansions because it's one of the few lights to actually, you know, light things. Also a light that goes in walls and ceilings and floors so we can remove our 50 tea lights per house for other furnishings...

Signs -be nice to have signposts we can put up in bigger houses to avoid 'do you have a crafting station?' etc And these could be fun... 'Pit of Death' etc

    Glowing dyes

    3. I KNEW THIS USED TO BE A FEATURE but I never cared for hirelings as much at the time, was this also the same if I didn't log in for 3 days and logged in the 4th I'd still get the ones I'd miss ? I'm sure this used to be a thing also

I wish ZOS could work with someone who is in charge of their network infrastructure as well as Akamai to resolve the current issue of lag conflagration during prime-time PvP
Back from my last hiatus. 2021 a new start.

Haaaaaang on a minute. This thread has been running for hours and no-one has complained (very much) or suggested that Sorcs get nerfed. What’s going on? I DEMAND this thread be closed immediately. Far too positive. ;)

On a more sensible note, there are some great ideas here. Really hope someone at ZoS (I dunno, maybe @ZOS_GinaBruno, coz she’s quite nice, or maybe @ZOS_JessicaFolsom coz I like the name) see this and immediately confirm they’re implementing everything in the next patch.

And @Dracofyre - ghost dancers...... you little awesome thing, you. <3

Well the manaquins would be "simple" enough, just make them an npc that can't move, and when you interact with them they equip a copy of your current outfit/weapon

Game is good as it is mostly and i disagree with people who act like the game belongs to them and they know what has to be changed but there are three things that i would like to see improved aswell:

    1# Performance
Ok they are working on it. Lets hope for the best but honestly ping over 50 with a good internet connection is ridiculuos in 2k19.

    2# Guilds
In the current state of the game guilds feel unimportant and interchangeable.
5 guild slots is definetly too much to have a connection to all your guilds and there should be something like "the one guild that you do everything with".
I know there are guilds like this out there but its because of the hard working guildleaders and not the guildsystem.
Give guilds a few more reasons to exist and be tight knitted not just a list of players raiding together.
    MMORPGS should be social games.

    3# Competetive raiding
I know that only a few players participate in score raiding and the worlds first "No Death, Speedrun, Hm" titles but as a hero in a MMORPG you should be rewarded with recognition for completing the hardest content and especially for doing it faster than the competition.
So at least fix the leaderboards please.
Maybe even introduce some E-Sport like events once a year.
