I haven't been able to get consistent parses on PTS due to lag, the results are all over the place.

But with trap + rend getting a big buff but only snipe getting a 9% increase, and Poison injection/soul trap used by both builds. Does that leave bow/bow in the dust?

Has anyone got any decent parses of bow/bow from scalebreaker (6 mill or trial dummy, no cheese)

    Depends what you mean by 'RIP'

    I don't have numbers it but probably still hurts like hell.
    Whether it's 'the absolutely best' is another story

    I have 3 bow/bow toons and have run all classes on it. Sorry no cmx but my game got a terminal bug last night and I had to reinstall everything. Stamsorc about the same as live now: Stamden about 2k less than live maybe more: Stam DK about 2k less than live.

    Sorry that's was on 21k Dummy Last week PTS and none of this weeks changes would effect those parses

    I would think Bow/Bow is about the same, but more fun to play than ever before because it can be played as a truly ranged spec.

    Poison Injection on paper does more dot damage from 0-100% (more consistant), but less extra execute damage for 0-50%. This makes it much stronger overall, yet the same dps in execute range. (+25% ramping damage melee doesn't get)

    Volley/VMA bow nerfed, but still very strong. You can use Master bow which will only see increased uptime now that your rotation will be 10s instead of 12s due to Arrow Barrage being the much stronger and easier morph vs Endless Hail. (+25% ramping damage melee doesn't get)

    Lightweight Trap lasts 10s, if you want to play truly ranged than you finally have minor force that does good damage and lasts the same duration of other dots. Cost significantly reduced too.

    Silver Shards available as a strong INSTANT spammable with cleave, passively gives 3% wpd. Everyone rejoice and unslot Crushing Weapon if you found it hard to weave and didn't really fit the Bow theme.

    Snipe and morphs buffed back up (after nerf last patch) by 9%. Keeps the better weaving introduced from before. (+25% ramping damage melee doesn't get)

    Soul Trap introduced as another ranged physical dot not present on live. Strong for sustain or okay for cleave.

    Trapping Webs now does more damage per cast than a spammable with damage on landing and after the burst, can be used as semi-spammable every 5s and offers a great synergy still.

    Bow/bow stays +/- same for price of more annoying rotation (tho that might be trend all around) while other builds go up. You do the math.

    With relequen, tzogvin, master and maelstrom bow I pulled 40k on a 6 mil and 70k on iron atro on pts on stamden with an easy rotation. I don’t go 100% into dps as I leave room for sustain on my character so I’m sure a fully optimized setup can pull 75-80 on an iron atro

    It's about the same for me. The endless hail and Caltrops nerf is kind of big, and offset pretty closely by soul trap+ lightweight trap+ poison injection buffs.

    Meanwhile my melee build went up a ton it seems due to Maelstrom DW.

    Bow/Bow necro is even better than on live. Lightweight Beast Trap does a lot of damage while providing Minor Force and +3% WD for slotting. And it allows you to run something better than tzogvin. Caltrops are just replaced with consuming trap.

    Can't post any CMX parse, however I am sitting around 88k on target Attro. Possibly getting to 90k but PTS is really lagy.

    Bow/bow Redguard looks like the nerfed sustain is still strong. (Because of Redguard 25% cost reduction on poison.)

    Are there any strong DPS builds exploiting that fact?
