This was the go to CC for all magicka classes. Now we can either go into melee range to use CC or lose it completely. because lets be honest: we don't need another subpar dot.
Magsorcs will have to use Streak which has low range and high cost.
Magblades are already melee because they need to usje gapcloser to get Minor Vulnerability that was taken away in the last nerf.
Magmancers will have to rely on ranged altar and enemies stupidity to actually stay in its range untill it activates.
Magwardens will lose all of their ranged CC.
MagDKs are already melee since forever.
Only magplars will have a good ranged CC in the form of javelin.
Dear ZOS: by removing CC from Destructive Reach you are completely destroying one of most fun and satisfying game syles. Please don't do that. Leave CC and range. You can take the dot and even direct damage. We need that CC to line up our combos and prevent enemy from blocking or healing for a moment.

I agree with you they have to keep old destructive reach was it was and change destructive clench since it has lower range and more reasonable to be a DoT1

bigelle.x3_ESO✭✭✭I'm sure it was very fun and satisfying to have your main spammable also be a cc at 28 meters. Good riddance. Clench should be stronger though. Master staff useless because I don't think clench is a viable option as a spammable anymore. Seems pretty weak.1

✭I think both morphs should be changed completely to CC effects. Both at 28 meters, both hard CCs.
They also need weak damage. There's no reason in the world this skill has high enough damage to be a main spammable for any class...
Not sure about morph effects though...0
