Bunny hopping no, its just really annoying.
....what's long jumping? If its a bug that gives you an advantage in combat then that qualifies as an Exploit.
Long jumping seems different then bunny hopping. Perhaps some clarity would help. Also, does it present like an unintended exploit?

No, that's neither an exploit nor reportable. Its just jumping up and down while moving forward.
Assuming the long jump is moving at greater than the intended jump distance/speed, then yes, that's an exploit. Sort of like Feather Fall, which ZOS promptly fixed after the methodology became widely known.
As far as I know, the only intended "long jump" are the leap skills, gap closers, and streak.

Yes, you could also make spells or enchants with 7 fortify jump 100 for 2 seconds + slowfall for an minute.Androconium wrote: »

Back then, you didn't have to cheat to do that. There were scrolls you found at the very beginning of the game that gave you +1000 athletics, which is the sill that dictated how far and high you could jump, among other things. At 1000+ athletics, you could jump across the whole of vvardenfell in 2 jumps. The trick was that the scroll effect lasted 3 seconds, so you had to use one to jump, one to land and re-jump with PERFECT timing, and the third on to land at your destination. Or you could just use a levitation spell, a slow-fall spell...
One thing that really annoyed me whith Oblivion and subsequent games is that the excuse to remove flying / superjumping was that the emperor had made them illegal. So, killing is illegal, but bandits do it all the time. SOme acts of necromancy are illegal, yet you find necromancers in remote caves doing it anyway. Stealing is illegal, but still you have thieves. And yet, none of the many up-to-no-good inhabitants of Tamriel dared to violate the interdiction of levitation spells. My willing suspension of disbelief took a major blow.

Or should I keep long jumping over all the other console plebs?

Long Jumping, Yes
No one should be able to clear huge gaps with jumping, unless you have a macro set up for it then its impossible to get the timing right
You need to activate speed buff, press sprint jump and walk to the left/right at just the right moment or at least they way I tried months ago, but trying this in combat with a huge success rate is impossible like I said without a macro setup
Todd Howard showed that he had mods installed on Both ps4 and xbox in 2017.
he said they are looking into making mods accessible as part of the new games
so yes, it IS possible to do.

What has this topic to do with mods? Also, Im not sure we can trust what Todd Howard says what with the things he have said over the years.

That streamer sounds really helpful and informative. I should probably follow them.

You know them already, you guys have dueled once. It was lord Jarl.
Zenimax,
please add a high stamina cost to jumping to the point that 2 jumps empties out the stamina pool we have making constant jumping impossible.
serious request,
please do this.
