Stampede + Tormentor(Set) interaction question
Console player asking here, has anyone tested the changes to Stampede to see if the area damage will proc the 5pc taunt effect of Tormentor?

Kadoozy✭✭✭✭It shouldn't. People tested the templar charge ability back when tormentor was used in proc builds and it only effected the base target. I haven't tested stampede with it because tormentor isn't that useful anymore and it didn't cross my mind, but I would assume it works the same way0 -

✭✭✭✭✭Honestly, if someone wants to give up a 5pc set (for Tormentor), a tank weapon type (for 2H), and a skill (for Stampede), I’m ok with them having an AoE taunt. I’m 100% sure this won’t be meta. It would be competing with sets like Alkosh and Yolnah, and the better bonuses on 1H or Staff weapon lines.0 -

They probably wouldn't do it because they don't want us to have aoe taunts and if they offered that option it would highlight how there is no aoe taunt available in the entire game.
Wonder how it would work though, if you taunt the same enemy 3 times, doesn't it make them immune to taunt?
The aoe dot ticks would have to apply it only once per target, if it refreshed each tick it would become redundant.0 -

The over taunt mechanic only applies if it's from multiple players (3 times in 12 seconds), you can no longer over taunt if you're the only one taunting.1
