The skill isn't working for low health and shielded sorcs
the tooltip say for radiant destruction:
The Burn an enemy with a ray of holy fire, dealing 894 Magic Damage over 1.8 seconds. Deals up to 480% more damage to enemies below 50% Health.
when a sorc or any shielded enemy health is below 50% the % excecute modifier isn't working at all.
example:
a sorc with 20k max health and 10k shield.
the sorc health drop to 5k, he fires a 10k shield.
the dmg done with radiant destruction isn't taking into account that sorc health is under 50% (here 25%) but it consider that his health is equal to shield 10k + 5k = 15k. So no dmg modifier.

Mmm, but is that really how it should work? Shield is not health. The strength of the shield should be deducted from the DMG RD does on the Health number, right?

What i mean is, considering how destructive the executes are, if they goes through shields (on health cap, i mean), then a shield will be worth way less than a heal. I use HtD and move from 16% to 46%. I cast Harness Magicka and i stay on 16% hence i die, because the executes bring a massive damage and my shield is working worst on that 16% than on a lets say 46%. I doubt this was thought when you decide how good a shield must be compared with a heal.
Precisely now that resistances count on shields, they´re just not more than extra health. So they should count for knowing if it can execute or not. If not, well, shields will really just count as preventive skills, casted at full health, and not as protective skills when you get damage. I´m not sure if this is already counted when devs decided how much a shield counts and how good its a shield relative to a heal.
That´s my opinion, maybe not the devs one. It would be interesting to know what they think about the shields and what shields are.
thank you for the test on PTS i don't know if they fixed it as on live the bug is definitely there
Since we are discussing radiant destruction, can we get a change to how cloak works against it?
I'll get a nightblade down to execute range and then they can continually spam cloak which interrupts my beam even with a detect potion on. So radiant basically can't hurt them while they continue to spam cloak. This is a live bug btw. Not just pts
