Soul Trap for stam users, is it buffed by Deadly Strike?

According to the patch notes soul trap which is a magika DoT currently on live, is being changed where as if your weapon damage is higher, it will do physical damage over time and scale off of stamina.

Can someone confirm if the damage output of soul trap is increased by the 5pc bonus from Deadly Strike?

    Yes, Deadly Strike buffs Soul Trap.

    The tooltip on PTS reads:

    Lay claim to enemy souls, dealing 9198 Magic Damage or 27180 Physical Damage ...

    I've tested it, it's buffed by Deadly Strike.

    increases the damage of PHYSICAL, bleed, poison, and disease damage over time effects by 14%

    just curious if the new soul trap will benefit

    i feel like this will slip through the update without being looked at
