    They wait until thier group of 3 or 4 stumble across a solo player so they can jump them, then claim they aren't zerglings because there's only 3 or 4 of them.

    Remember when small scale meant that group would go up against zergs instead of what "small scale" means these days? I miss those times...

    The new rule for the Hammer should be that it will always spawn to the alliance with the lowest score. Add some incentive and a force multiplyer for the last place team - you can still get the hammer for 1st & 2nd alliance by killing the holder. It's still possible for the Emp faction to get it if last place made Emp - but that's not as demoralizing as the 1st place team getting a force multiplier they obviously do not need.

    The relic holder needs to get AP to stay alive. ZOS should add a multiplier to what is needed the longer the relic is held. Just make it impossible for the relic holder to keep it longer then 5 min or so. When it is dropped and someone else picks it up, the AP needed to stay alive doesn't reset. Just like tower farmers, starve them out.

    Either you haven't played ESO since its beginning or you have a really short memory. The domination of a single faction in a campaign is exactly what was happening all the time in Cyrodill back in the days when we had faction lock. I've been warning about consequences of faction locks and especially the scenario you described. But did anyone listen? No.

    PS4NA has eliminated domination by a single faction thanks to faction lock. The days of faction-hoppers jumping ship for the winning side are over. I am proud to have helped lobby for re-implementation of a faction lock option since 2017 along with assisting to record numerous game breaking exploits permitted by faction-hopping.

    Cyrodiil is better thanks to faction lock option. :)

    They do if they know they’re empty. Then they do exactly what you describe.

    One or two guys checking out why their home keep is flipped. Since it’s only five of them, it’s alright.

    Please keep on topic. This thread isn't about "small scale" vs. zergs, or pros and cons of faction lock.

    The thread is (yet another) complaint about the implementation of the hammer, and how it provides yet another power tool along with keep bonuses, scroll bonuses and especially Emp bonus to pile up on one side, making the campaigns even more one-sided and thereby boring and uninteresting to play in.

    PcNA it’s YELLOW instead of blue and it’s more like 100v25 but luckily enough those yellows are trash, emp buffs and all.

    You can’t play the map though only play for kills. Everyone I killed last night I told, “ You can’t brawl! Crawl back into your Zerg!” To general hysterics Lol.

    Most of the emps I’ve fought are nightcapping Zergling trash who manage to find a way to die, emp buffs and all. I don’t need Daedric trash to kill em. WE don’t need Daedric trash to kill em.

    And the blatant and disgusting exploiting of Volendrung just keeps happening. Again today, hammer spawns near yellow keep, then it turns yellow for 2 minutes, and poof, it's gone from the map entirely. This while 8 of our red guys were quickly approaching it, very suspicious. Then 5 minutes after, the hammer appears again out of thin air, behind yellow gate. And now it's been sitting there for 15+ mins doing nothing at all. Supposedly you're supposed to die if you don't use it for AP, but now it's been sitting there not getting any AP, and clearly no one died from it.

    Hammer is bad enough, but these blatant exploits of glitches and bugs are just infuriating.

    It might would be ok if it were used as a way for the losing side to make a come back. But you're right, under the current design it usually ends up just providing the dominant side with more firepower to own the map - which is the last thing it needs.

    They need to make it to where only the losing faction can pick up the hammer or something.

    3 ways to fix cyro:
    - nerf animations/ground based hots so 50+ people aren't being calculated so 6 people get a heal lol. make it 6 cap, but only in your group.
    - turn friendly fire on. the 10th sniper/templar trying to snipe you from behind the zerg will need to actually aim or least hit their teammates.
    - let us rez at the towns or random spawn across the map. remove doors to keeps and make objectives littered all over the map that do interesting things at another.

    That will spread out the numbers and lag will be gone. OP siege hinted at this.

    All of the issues with the hammer were predicted precisely and feedback given. The feedback was ignored. Make of that what you will.

    On the side issue: an emp with buffed faction stack AND the hammer pushing tri-keeps versus an underpop faction isn't a potential winning fight. Not even a fun one to bravely lose. Going to the other low pop faction to find a fight that has some potential fun and be somewhat competitive is a reasonable response. Unfortunately for that map, it seems AD had the same idea and went far north. :D

    For those who constantly i mean CONSTANTLY whine about faction lock;

    Think it as a reset in whole game. And make new friends/new charachters if you cant play a faction you want. There is not much more you can do about that.

    Against a hammer you might need a guild to take hammer down. I know those macro emperors with a hammer can be a bit frustrating. This time, luck wasn't on your side. Hammer literally spawns randomly, and if you didn't have players around spawn point, its your own fault. If you have had the hammer, the map could look all red. When the hammer gets on side that has only 2 keeps, u will have good time. About QQ; I doubt that the hammer is going to be deleted because Destro ultimates are still in game.

    I love the hammer and the chaos it brings. When I see it on the map, I flock to that position to either defend it or take it. Teamwork is OP and I’ve seen the same hammer paint the map different colors due to different teams successfully wielding it. And that’s a good thing. It gets a faction working together to complete map objectives. Without the hammer, I rarely see such coordination.

    Easy fix. When the faction with Emp picks up the hammer it despawns. Problem solved.

    Sorry to bring it to you, but your faction apparently has many of its people in the AD home keep and around the AD resources, in order to play purple instead of fighting off the DC. That happens very often in PC/EU at least and so its no wonder if the campaign is messed up from time to time. Without these reds in the AD territory the DC would have much more trouble controlling the southern part of the map and would have to divert more people south. But no, your fellow mates prefer to play purple ;)


    To that Hammer topic: I already said that in my opinion the Hammer should be consumed if it is used to destroy a keep. So people would have to use it wiser.

    I've also heard there's a bug where, after first picking the hammer up, if you don't use the ultimate it doesn't degrade. So there's that too.

    The hammer should degrade at different rates depending on your faction's current score, so the higher your score the faster it degrades. They could make it degrade even faster still if an emperor is using it.

    PvP in ESO is already dead and first died when the original campaigns were removed and new ones created as replacements. Now it just caters to zergs, min maxers and cry babies.
