depending on what they say this Saturday will let me know if I am gonna be taking a break for AWHILE or not. I have been having fun, all the memories and such are great...HOWEVER, there are a lot of games coming out and just so much time in a day. I am hoping they reveal something that will make me want to stay invested in the game longer than just an expansion. I pay eso monthly and have pretty much-done everything and have been working on PVP...

I primarily play as a healer in this game. I have dealt with the nerfs to templar the entire time and just adapted. I have seen how the healing in the PTS is changing and depending on what gets said or revealed this sat will let me know if I'm gonna keep investing my time and money.

If they talk about infrastructure, stability and maybe a hint of spell crafting to make sense of why all the class nerfs and healing nerfs I would be ecstatic.
A huge part of me feels like the fact that we have skill lines going to be for sale in the crown store tells me they may be doing this with spell crafting if it shows up.

what are you hoping for this Saturday at Quakecon from the building Tamriel panel?
What will be deal breakers for you?

I feel the writing is on the wall as far as the direction it's going monetized wise...

I am definitely hoping for this. The only issue is they might not talk about performance upgrades yet as those are coming in Update 24. They could spend a lot of this panel discussing U23/Scalebreaker, and save U24 for PAX at the end of August.

My guess is it'll hype the upcoming patch, while downplaying anything even closely related to performance. They may give it a passing phrase while quickly changing the subject

It wont be eso 2 they are using a new IP .truthfully I wont even buy es6. Not after the scam bethseda they pulled with FO76 and the way zeni has ruined this game. All zos is doing is adding land scape there has not been one emerging system in this game. Cp is the same it was when it launched. Itemization / progression/ character development is a joke. But amazingly the crown store works perfect

Not to sound pessimistic, but should we even have expectations anymore when it comes to these areas? We can only hope that they will bring this game back to where it deserves to be. Personally, I don't think anything is going to change drastically anytime soon, if ever. Too many other projects going on and ESO feels a bit like it's the back burner project atm.

What I expect from the announcements: Performance fixes, their game design direction, future plans.
What I actually think will happen:

'We are very excited to bring you several update-' 'There will be dragons! Wow!' 'Errm.. yes, that's right, we will have actual dragons, amazing! So as I was saying we will make a number of improvements to-' 'WOOOHOOO' '... to... we will make a number of improvements to Pv-' 'YEAHHH!' '..to PvP and we are trying to fix the performa-' 'Also, don't forget that we're running a Crown Store promo right now, and we have cute cats for sale, don't miss out!' 'Where was I, ah yes, the performance-' 'WOOO YEAAAH'

(Obviously this is a tongue-in-cheek reference to the Bethesda Hype Squad from E3, don't take it too hard

I believe we are getting the performance updates and things of this nature to be able to get ESO on the Nintendo Switch at some point...maybe Q4 of 2020

I am guessing that is when Nintendo Switch "pro" will be available.

Now gaming companies can NOT ignore the success of the Nintendo Switch. I feel these updates are directly coming because of primarily wanting to port to it.

I don't think they would drop all that money to fix it if they weren't gonna get SOME SERIOUS profit at the end of this. I am just thinking like a businessman at this point.

It was a rollercoaster of emotions. At first I felt guilty, seeing all the updates over the years I have taken for granted.

Then I felt a sense of awe, knowing nothing of how an MMO functions behind the scenes it was fascinating hearing Rich and Matt talk about all the changes the game has gone through, and how much effort they required.

In the end they left me excited for the upcoming content, but mostly for the performance upgrades. I love a roadmap as much as the next adventurer, so it will be fun seeing them update it as time goes on.
