Zenimax, please tell me how to safely transfer gold/items between characters

Zenimax, this is the state of the game right now, it's live an no longer a beta so we're paying to play it:

1) The 'bank bug' has hit probably hundreds, likely thousands, randomly wiping everything from the bank (hit me twice now)

2) Zenimax are banning players simply for transferring gold, there are multiple reports on this forum where this has happened when clearly there was no 'RMT' connection

3) The game doesn't let me mail items to myself

So, please tell me how I can safely transfer items and gold without risking losing it (and not getting replacement) or getting banned by your ban-bot.

Thank you.

The bank bug only stops you from seeing whats in your bank, the items are still there.

The safest way to transfer your items, is the bank.

well i tell you how it work: it suspend innocent players for doing things who are normal in any other MMO (like trading gold with friends) and keep the guilty players who using Bots (just go in a dungeon and you know what i mean) in the game ...

#1 is a solid case. The bank bug is still hitting people and it should probably get fixed sooner or later. Preferrably sooner.

#2 isn't completely right. Zenimax isn't banning people for transfering gold or sending mass emails, they have a series of auto-ban bots that ban anyone that shows goldseller behavior. Which can be "fixed" by not doing any of those two things.

#3 is kind of irrelevant, since the bank accounts are shared across all characters. You don't need to send items to yourself since you can place things on the bank and withdraw them on the other character.

In conclusion: if you want to send gold to your other characters, deposit gold on your shared bank account. If you want to send gold to other players, then you are getting banned and rightfully so.

How am I getting rightfully banned for forking over the last few grand my friend needs for a horse, or 60k cod for a motif book?

    Okay....

If I want to send gold to a guildie to help them out I should have that right to do so. I am not a gold seller. I am a guild leader. It is not rightfully so if we are trying to help our guildies, or friends out with some gold and get banned for it.

People don't get banned for legitimately sending people gold unless there is affiliated third party action involved.

It is pretty simply to do a trace check on where the gold came from that takes their team who lead this probably 2 mins to check.

If you are banned, then you clearly did something wrong and are looking here for a last ditch effort to get a free pass.

Uhm... Why are you in denial?

It happens, and apparently happens often.
One of my friends gave money to another friend for a horse (we have the Imperial edition, he doesn't).
    He got banned.
After 2 days of writing tickets etc., he got unbanned, but it does happen.

There are also NUMEROUS reports on similar matters on the forums.
Surely you don't think these people are just making things up for the sake of forum entertainment?

Apparently, their ban-bot is completely ridiculous and reacts to some pretty normal stuff like it's illegal.

The only thing worse than bugs and server issues and account issues are people who are (for some reason which I cannot fathom) denying these issues and writing them off, making it easier for the supplier to ignore them instead of fix them.

There is no accounting for the sheer ignorance of facts and over-preponderance of opinion in what you have just said.

It has already been clearly shown through these forums that a number of people have been banned and subsequently re-instated as a result of failures within Zenimax's system used for correctly identifying and banning gold sellers.

How can putting money into bank to give to one of your alts be illegal? I have been paranoid to even do this or trade money with my husband in game because of this issue of banning for legitimate transactions.

I have seen no physical evidence of anything. People can say what ever they want on the internet, people choose to believe it or they don't. I don't even believe half the email responses people are posting.

I choose not too because I know how these teams work and focus on third party behaviour and blanket banning people because a trade = x amount is not one of them. Worst case scenario, a trade with x amount in it flags them to be investigated.

Now, most companies these days, give a bit of ley way when it comes to third party transactions and they only temporarily suspend the account, not ban them unless there is repeat offenses. You could very well have 3 strikes here and you are out.

One last thing, scare tactics. Denial? Do you believe other Producing companies hire people to purposely be vocally destructive on official forums of highly successful games?

Well to add a stick in the wheel to the ignorance of some people. I have two friends who are guild leaders. They both sent newsletters to there members (around 15 or so) and got banned for spam mail. So YES there is a blanket system. It took 3 days for ZOS to lift the bans. How do they expect us to have any kind of economy if they ban us for trying to buy or sell our stuff. How do they expect guilds to function when they give us no tools to help get messages to our members.
