Anyone been testing out Sweeps/jabs on PTS regarding the revert of the camera targeting system? Feedback please, videos if possible.

The fix to the camera angle was one of the best updates to reliability of the skill...what is the reasoning behind the revert???

    You made me log on PTS for this. You stil rotate towards your reticle while channeling this skill. Whatever they did isn't implemented on the PTS.

    Does it seem like its from camera panning? Or is it just RNGing with the Hitbox?

    See, this is why ZOS just needs to make this a Single Target Channel attack (Like Flurry) with a secondary AOE splash damage within 2m

    Careful what you wish for ... getting Flurry to "hit" in PvP is extremely difficult.

    all it needs to do is ignore major evasion since the ruleset is that fake AOE (like force pulse) ignore evasion because it is not true AOE mechanics. Jabs, based on tooltip and use, is primarily single target focused but is AOE applied in order to get the ability to be cast at will. It lands in this weird grey zone of "hey i need to push single target dmg but im being punished because my target has 25% dmg mitigation for AOE". But not everyone runs major evasion so increasing dmg just punishes though that dont have access to it (mag builds).

    Jabs on console is terrible. Doesn't perform at all like it used to. Nowadays it feels like it just misses for no reason half the time, or connects all 5 hits and blows the target away the other half. To be honest I wish they'd just rework the ability into a new spammable with better functionality, similar to how the necro scythe functions (with better damage of course, that scythe hits like a noodle unless the target has major vulnerability).

    Agree 100. You're not hitting anything unless it's cc'd or snared. Even then, it's iffy.
