DK Pyro-Mage In PvE & PvP

I saw a couple of videos showcasing game play in PvE and it was pretty much all point blank area of attack...Saw some PvP videos and it was the same...

Is that accurate, pretty much all this build has is melee range area of attack? Sounds risky in both PvE and PvP for a light armor wearing caster?

i think you're confusing the sorcerer with the dragonknight here.
sorc is lightning and dark magic, the fire breathing and aoe stuff is the dragonknight.

yep above poster is right, DK have a few aoes at their disposal, you're problem is that instead of playing the game and creating your own build, you are trying to copy someone elses, you can be whatever you want and do any role, just play a bit and see what fits your playstyle not some build that everyone is attempting to emulate
