Yes, I know Stamblades are strong. But ZOS could give Aspect of Terror and it's morphs something helpful on the MagBlade side (since Stamblades will probably use Turn Evil).

On magblade it gives resistance buff uptimes and the weapon damage is irrelevant.
the passives shouldnt be included in a skill strenght when it comes to compare it's effect.
it can be included, but shouldnt.
Oh. I always thought class skills were supposed to be preferable over generic skills, you know, in a game where there are classes and you choose based on your preferences. Who knew?
There was a thread here that basically asked if the Devs would publish their roadmap for skill balancing. I wish they would, it'd clear up some of the confusing choices that seem to be going around.
I'm a little confused, I'll admit.

- The 1st issue:
It is unique NB effect. But as all effects it is not 100% "class" exclusive. You can have it even if you are not a NB, but with a lot of sacrifices (Werewolf). Same for Cloak. We have invisibility potions available for everyone. Same as with Pets. If you are not a Sorc, you can use WW or some proc - sets. So other classes have access to unique mechanics, but those are usually worse "variants" and come with some sacrifices. Also, it is not only NB problem, as they are pulling the same s**t with Corrosive Armor (Onslaught).
- The 2nd issue:
If you dont like fear "spam" in PvP, then it is only gotta get worse, as now not only NB, but EVERY class will spam it. As a result, fear will gonna get nerfed next-next patch, because of the upcoming flaw of complains. Now tell me. How are for example NB suppose to "tank" in a future ? Fear is their only good class CC. And tbh. they are already worse class for that role...

Yes. Because of how popular Turn Evil will likely be, Fear will be reverted AGAIN to 2 targets. It's only a matter of time lol.

The resistance buffs are shorter than 99% of the resistance buffs in this game. And you think 3% weapon damage on a stam character is irrelevant?
I'd gladly take 3% spell damage for ## seconds after using Aspect of Terror. ZOS, pretty please?
It does seem like ZOS wants more sapblades out there (with the buff to sap essence). But with the nerf to protective traits and Merciless Resolve- a MagBlade's survivability is taking a hit. I guess a % increase to spell damage would allow a MagBlade to sap harder and allow them to survive longer.

I completely agree with you i certainly will be using turn evil on my stamblade and I want fear to be good for my magblade as for a while now I have really been enjoying magblade.Savos_Saren wrote: »As the title says: Turn Evil, by far, overshadows Aspect of Terror and it's morphs. Comparison:

I wonder if these will stack? I did not test that since it was just me. If they stack, whole raids could be feared at entry points.

Necro Ghost is dark magic, Nightblade Ghost is an Illusion.

No, it isn't:
Summon a dark spirit to terrify up to 6 enemies, causing them to flee in fear for 3 seconds.
Conjure a ghostly spirit to do your bidding and stay by your side for 16 seconds. The spirit heals you or the lowest health ally around you every 2 seconds, restoring 246 health. Creates a corpse on death.
