I was wondering about player crafted DoT Poisons with this change. I noticed last week that my crafted poisons are scaling with the Master-at-Arms champion point instead of the Thaumaturge CP. I don't know if this is intended (seems like a bug), so I wasn't sure exactly where this leaves DoT poisons in regards to this change? and in regards to the champion points in general? Thanks for any insight you have.

Well alot of sets and skills were scaled by master at arms even if clearly damage over time. That dosent mean its direct dmg. Or else there would be a trillion dot build abusing varens legacy. I think until it hits life, onslaught will only buff real direct dmg. Zenimax is really good at nerfing.

Did you notice they are doing more damage with Master at Arms than Thaumatuge or did you notice the tooltip says they deal more damage with Master at Arms than Thaumaturge.

Those 2 things are vastly different in this game.

So I can confirm that master at arms is affecting the tooltip # of the poisons shown, but actually has no influence over the damage caused
Thaum is not changing the tooltip # but is what actually modifies the damage

    against target dummy:

    0 master 0 thaum = 1172

    0 master 100 thaum = 1206

    100 master 100 thaum = 1206 < master = no change

So it really is just a tool tip bug - that's good. I ran out of time to test on live, but was going to do so tonight. Now I don't have to...

You must not have a lot of penetration to only get a 34 damage increase from a 25% increase. I may test myself to see if the numbers make more sense when I can control all the variables. Something seems wrong with those numbers.

I titled this 5.1.2 because I was specifically wondering how DoT poisons would interact with the onslaught changes in 5.1.2 given the tool tip was updating incorrectly.

I guess because the new onslaught will only affect direct dmg/channel abilities like dizzy swind, flurry, ***, rather than affecting dots like axe bleed, posion injection, double dot posions...etc.
