Learn to play something other than a roll dodge build. You might want to try blocking or using LOS. Only bad players died to current soul assault. The nerf is completely unnecessary and only caters to forum whiners like yourself.

I also have the feeling this change was made 100% because of forum whiners...
I literally NEVER heard someone complain about this skill being too strong EVER...
Also the increase to 170 ultimate from 100... Who comes up with these changes, instead of fixing bugs someone at ZOS is busy with crappifying ultimates into oblivion... Except for the Bone Collossus Ultimate of course, Pay to Win... :-/
Who is going to use an ULTIMATE, which is:
- Can be cancelled with LoS within 1 sec of casting (Poof 170 ultimate...)
- Is only single target
- Does the same DPS as spamming a spammable, someone check if Jesus Beam skill outdamages this Ultimate?
- During casting makes you slow as crap (now even for 5 seconds!! YAY!!)
- Costs an absurd amount of ultimate

Soulassault was a pure Xv1 ability and rightfully adjusted.
Sadly these adjustments are also outright terrible and leave the ability in a state where it´s not ever going to be slotted.
If something is problematic on a mechanical level (undodgeable high dmg channel) it should see rework instead of number tweaking as hardcounters are generally in one of two states:
1. they do work and then op bc as the name implies - a hardcounter
2. they no longer hardcounter sth and become useless.

Case in point Toxic Barrage. The channeled forgotten morph of Rapid Fire (other is Ballista) that is even dodgeable. Soul Assault before nerf did the same job but twice as better and cheaper. To reduce one ability on level of Toxic Barrage after having data to see that nobody uses toxic barrage in nearly 3 years of existence of that ultimate is.... weird.
