either this or make it so that people with multiple characters get some sort of bonus
It always amuses me when MMOS force players to do 'x' as the only means to acquire something like this (crafting items, recipes, gear upgrade items, etc.) .. often it seems to me it's simply trying to coerce players into content they loathe and have no desire to touch .. like PVP in general, Imperial City et. al. in particular.

Ooops, I'm too late!
Guys, you have NO IDEA what it's like to really need to transmute a bunch of gear in a hurry, otherwise you wouldn't be posting this nonsense, LOL.
And YES, transmuting jewelry definitely DOES count. Why wouldn't it count??? Especially now that Protective just got nerfed! I could spend 24 hours a day farming transmute crystals until Update 23 goes live, and I *still* wouldn't have enough to transmute all the Triune pieces I'm gonna need.
i personally take a few toons to tier 1 and i dont mind doing so.
however, i would be fine with a “pve only” method of getting the same amount of crystals with the same amount of effort.
the only ones against this are hardcore pvpers who want the easy kills from us carebears so they can stroke their e-peens and make clips for their youtube channel instead of getting a real job.
its all about that K/D i reckon.

In a hurry? Wait 30 days per char for 50 each, or 4-10 daily from BG.
Or, as per a previous post ~150 a week per character from pve activities already in the game.
Hmmm...
I want like 250 in an hour.
😂 Don't we all? But that's an unrealistic expectationI think there are enough sources as it stands. The issue is people want more from a single activity they enjoy more than others... That's not on ZOS to fix in my opinion.

I think if they were actively trying to lure people into PvP they would actually put more effort into pvp in the first place.

Not really. I'm against this because I feel there are plenty of activities for me in PvE to gain transmutes, and much faster than from PvP (Cyro and BG combined); as I said before, the only time this is an issue is where players only do one activity, and feel they are burdened by doing anything else.Emma_Overload wrote: »Emma_Overload wrote: »NB4 a bunch of know-it-all commenters appear, explaining to other players why they don't really need so many transmute crystals blah blah blah... It bolsters my commitment to NOT play that aspect of the game.
Whatever aspect of the game we are discussing, if it isn't FUN to me, no amount of cajoling, corralling, or bribes is going to make me change my mind.
Make it fun and I'll play it.
Make it compulsory to play it to get X, and I'll just learn to live without X.
It is that simple.
All The Best

This is by no means the case, also pve content is very split player base wise, just because you like to run trials does no mean you like to do dungeons arenas or even solo arenas such as maelstrom, a trial runner gets nowhere near enough crystals, they get less each month than a person spamming rapid regen in Cyrodill for 2 hours.

So... what you're saying is:
"There are plenty of activities for gaining transmutes in PvE, but I feel burdened by doing the ones I don't like."
Which is exactly what I said most people's problem is.

Bring every raiding guild requires tanks and healers to have war horn and every solid stam dps will have vigor and caltrops your argument falls apart. Zos did this by design.
While I like the ability to obtain crystals be similar time wise between the two activities my guess is Zos would bring PvP into balance with PvE vs the other way around.
Regardless, the poll question is not well thought as there are already lore ways to gain crystals via PvE be PvP. The argument is flawed.

If they will be so easily achievable by everyone it will ruin game economy and trading, since those divine necropotence items will cost nothing. You think this is good? Lol, no, if there won't be reward for lucky drop, nobody will grind it and there will be very few of them in the market.
