In Lore and in game its possible and preferable to know and use as many damage types as possible, however for me when it comes to Magic i like to think a Mage would either be naturally gifted or focused on a single type of Magic, which is why i have an Argonian Warden Cryomancer and a Khajiit Sorc Electromancer.

My warden is the latest version of a character I play in most western RPGs and she's always a ranger/druid/nature cleric type thing, so she'd use nature magic under whatever name it's given.

But yeah, I sometimes wish they had done this.
Instead of having -classes- per se, let our character pick one "elemental affinity" (Fire, Ice, Lightning, Earth, Light, Darkness) for an elemental skill line, and one "power affinity" (Aedric, Daedric, Draconic, Mystic, Nature, Necromantic) for two other skill lines during the tutorial... and let people mix and match their very own flavor for their characters!

Actually the "Illusionist" would be for illusion magic! Conjurer generally is a different flavor, one dealing with spirits and stuff! "Conjuring" them up to put them to work, or temporarily borrowing their power, unlike Sorcerors who generally are considered to gain their power through a permanent pact with a spiritual (or demonic) entity in the western mystic tradition...Conjuror (Illusion Magic)

✭✭✭✭✭I do like the idea behind the poll, but I feel like it's not capturing the complexity of the subject. Given the option limit, that may even be impossible.
I don't think "Conjuror" is the word for Illusionists... Enchanter would fit better, but that is obviously already taken in the ES universe. Also, you kind of forgot the mage that summons Daedra and Atronachs, which would be the actual Conjuror as they transport/create from nothing, which is present in Sorcerers in ESO.
Healing magic is Restoration - a Restoremancer in that sense. You could also call them Abjuror if you wanted. "Biomancer" just sounds to me like the manipulation of living flesh which would be visceromancy, which is a thing in Tamriel too.
Then there is Earth magic which is possibly a form of Alteration. DKs do use that, so it's not even out of the question because your character could be focusing on that. Same with Enchanting.
I think I'd go with either Mysticism, Alteration or Enchanting, but out of the options above, it'll have to be Electromancy, because that's the only category my Sorc could fall in.
