tbh i dont think that my complaints will be recognized or will change anything for good, since all topics which critically acclaim your action with the nerf hammer get ignored, unless they derail and get closed.
eventually those nerf calls would get ignored and closed by zos - or at least they pretended to ingore them. however, in the long run those nerf calls would get enough attention to strike all of us with the nerf hammer.
as example scalebreaker :
shields in generell gets 3 nerfs....increased cost, reduced duration and also reduced max shield strength.
the heavy armor pvp meta....well tbh i dont know what you tried to do there. let me guess: you want to eliminate this playstile as a whole, instead of bringing balance to it?^^
several sets wich where in this game for years and never caused real problems, most of them did not even require the least attempt of balancing them, now get nerfed or heavily altered, why?
they overperform now after years? like there is no reason for it to be that strong? like there is no reason for plague doctor to be that strong?
oh, ye sure, maybe some some salty nerflings complained about it but 2 questions tho.....
1. then why the jEFF was it there in the first place?
2. and thats reason enough to nerf sets wich have been here since at the beginning and did not overperform at all?
some sets were pretty strong and needed adjustment. however, bringing balance to them did not require to completely change their purpose and eventually alter or destroy builds and play styles.
from my perspective your patch notes transport only 1 message :
change the meta, whatever the cost, whatever the outcome.
oh and btw nerfing a set like fury wich is around 750 wpn dmg before scalebreaker and then you want to introduce a set like Dro’zakar’s Claws which will be 800+ wpn dmg for bleed builds is just wow gg....that logic
its quite obvious that some changes do not adress balance issues but aim at forcing players into senseless gear regrinding over and over again, else you would not introduce such over performing sets.
