Those of us that actually play the game are stuck with what we got.

Interesting how ESO and Barbie Fashion Show Extreme Online do share overlapping interest/player groups. (?)

Cant play for love nor money today, cant swap bar, can't doge, getting CC'd 3 times in a row, hammering the same skil 20 times and it still wont fire.
Its so bad and, now i've logged out cuz' its done my head in.
Anyone know of any other games / "premium games" that Lag like this? i mean, this is seriously detrimental to the health of the game and i've never seen anything like it,
Is this an acceptable standard ?
If i didn't have so many achievements and rl money invested into this server i would move to NA.
Yeah, LOTRO and SWTOR lagged just as bad (even worse).
WoW is really the only game I can remember playing that could handle large scale PvP without significant lag. Which is ironic considering it's one of the oldest games out there.
It is extremely annoying when lag hits you while you're getting "CC'D". Being unable to move on this game is basically an instant death sentence.
This is typically what happens though when a game opens a cash shop and the corporate overlords take over. The priority is no longer to provide the smoothest game experience possible but to make as much profit as possible. Upgrades to their servers are weighed against costs. And considering they probably make most of their money selling reskinned mounts and cute pets sever performance is likely no longer at the top of their priority list.
People need to stop buying things in the crown store and cancel ESO+ until they fix the performance issues. Absolute horse$#it that they can't dedicate resources to fixing basic performance but they can keep churning out the real-life money crown store garbage.

Virtually no lag. DCs sometimes if ddos attacks, but runs perfect otherwise.

Part of the problem is that not everyone is experiencing the performance/lag issues to the extent that you are. I'm a newer player, I live in Colorado in the US. I play on the NA Megaserver. I dont PVP. I'm a PVE player that at this point is just doing solo play, i'm trying to decide if I want to participate in end game trials or not. For the most part, I do not notice any in game lag most of the time. I have started to notice and pay attention to the un-lootable corpses, but beyond that, I really don't notice lag/rubber banding like I do/did in other MMO's. Similar to other MMO's the lag seems to be there one day, and gone the next. It's not a constant all the time thing for me. So from my experience in the few months that I have been playing ESO, the game is very playable. As long as there are players like me out there that do not think the game is "unplayable", then we will continue to spend money on our entertainment choice.
IMO if everyone were to stop spending money tomorrow and everyone canceled ESO+ as you ask, I really don't think that ZOS would do anything for addressing performance like you think they should.
edited for spelling
