I would’ve been fishing already but PTS didn’t copy any of my characters and I’m too lazy to farm bait first.
Interesting, thanks for that. I guess it’s just “finish the achieve and done” with it there then. Sad
I think there’s a big difference between furnishings in general and unique furnishings that can only be obtained from certain sources. The scuttlebloom and blackmarsh fish are good examples because you can’t get those from another source. From what I’ve seen everything in Elsweyr can be bought/made, which makes them less interesting.

They are exclusively obtained from looting owned containers. They have no plans in the game files to be crafted, and no vendor sells them.
They're similar to the "Spool, Empty," "Quality Fabric, Folded," "Soft Leather, Stacked," "Soft Leather, Folded," and "The Shivering Cheese" furnishings from the Base Game.

What's the drop rate like? After reading this post, I went out and started stealing from all of the houses in Rimmen, and after looting for several hours, have yet to find a single one of these items! (Did get a purple Khajiit furnishing plan though!)
Follow up question! Did you manage to pull any of these furnishings from the Fighter's/Mage's Guild Hall? That building seems to have the highest concentration of owned containers to loot, however after 20+ runs, I have not pull a single one of the listed furnishings? Are these items limited to dropping just in owned homes?

I would say that, roughly a 3 hour grind each day has netted me an average of 1 Elsweyr Stolen furnishing a day. I've only stolen from containers inside houses, and I've seen them come out of Closets, Wardrobes, Barrels, Crates, and Desks.

Thank you for taking the time to reply! This information is greatly appreciated!

@B0SSzombie - So I'm now sitting at just shy of 8 hours of looting owned containers in Rimmen. I've pulled Signed Contracts, Stacks of Paper, Empty Spools, and 1 Purple Furnishing plan, but alas not a single one of the new furnishings! The grind in ESO is absolutely mind-numbing!

Just to add to your very helpful posts: I haven't stolen much in Elsweyr yet, but I've gotten a hand fan from a noble in Riverfront and a perfume bottle from a NPC (don't remember their "title") in Rimmen.
ETA: I can't say for sure how low the drop rate for those items is, since I haven't stolen enough to get an idea.

Thank you for the information! I tried picking pockets in Riverhold but for some reason, most of the NPCs kept spawning empty. I'll have to give picking pockets another chance!B0SSzombie wrote: »You won't believe it, but I just started my grind for the evening, and on my first run, I found an "Elweyr Hand Mirror, Rectangular" in the SAME Wardrobe as before.
I finally looted my first item! It was a perfume bottle, and I pulled it from that very same Wardrobe!
[There are only two NPCs I bother stealing from in Riverhold, both wander behind the building with the museum (and the two houses you can break into).
One is a male elf who walks back and forth between the first house in town (the one with the guy whose daughter went missing) and one of the houses that can be entered. The other one is a female noble who walks to the second house and then comes towards the area with the tents in the center of town.
Congrats on the perfume bottle. They're very pretty.
Completely off topic, but I wanted to thank you for your guides to getting the thrones (breton, orc and wood elf ones). I got the breton one on my second try and 3 plans for the orc ones (one was a repeat) quite fast too. The one I really, really want is, of course, the one that won't drop for me.
