For the average quester this is probably something that doesn't even get noticed, but as someone who runs through daily crafting writs on a full account of characters and frequently turns in a stockpile of master writs, this would be a much-appreciated feature. Even more so since the Elsweyr patch where my FPS drops drastically while all that text is generating across the screen.
Outside of new players, do you really need the game to tell you that you just accepted a quest? Or, for that matter, just turned one in? We already have an option to enable/disable the quest tracking text in the upper right-hand corner, so if you need the reminder of what the quest needs... there it is. I've gotten to the point where I can accept all my crafting writs, and have all the items crafted before the quest dialog has finished cycling across the screen. And I'm on console without any add-ons to do the crafting for me.
Likewise, once I turn the writs and I want to check my inventory for rewards, half my display is blocked by the quest completion text. This is even more pronounced when turning in a string of master writs. I can be halfway across the zone and still be getting quest completion dialog!
I realize that some people may appreciate this feature, and I'm not asking for it to be removed completely. I would just like it added as a toggle-able option in the base-game menu. (I'm sure there are PC add-ons that remove this for you guys).
