The new sets are so underwhelming its hard to get excited to run the new dungeons. The only one that seems even remotely interesting is the healing one. Spice it up ZoS!!!
Indeed. It would be good to find any kind of progression so you can get exited. Not saying that there should be an overhaul on every role, but new dungeons should give reasons to be excited about.
Zens Redress is broken, it does no damage, but it will nearly certainly be meta on live, either a magplar or magdk utilizing it.
Azureblight is a viable and fun dps set for pve aoe fights. Claws likewise opens up some pve bleed builds.
Hollowfang will likely be valuable in vSS and vCR for the healing and magicka bonus.
The tank sets are, as usual, utter crap but one step at a time. Zos is still figuring out what support roles are in a game thats basically a dps race pretending to be complicated.
Honestly everyone complains each dungeon cycle that all the new sets are just cancer proc sets for pvp in a pve area. Sooo we finally get a bunch of cool, non proc sets that help flesh out pve gearing options and still complaints.

An issue I had with other mmorpgs I played is that lack of feeling of growth once you've reached a plateua. The growth doesn't need to be about power level, but just things to further mould a player into a type of role. Many games I played get stuck in a rut and keep making content using the same systems but just making things more about farming.
However, Secret World and Guild Wars had a horizontal system of amassing tons of useful skills to create a vast number of roles effective in the game because the game had really really diverse content. In ESO it could be made so that a player could work on acquiring a specific combination of things that could excel at one specific area of cyrodiil. But the areas aren't diverse enough with environmental mechanics or rpg systems to warrant growing a character that way.
I really like the monster sustain set. I think I’ll be trying it out on every one of my characters.
