Withered Hand Set and VMA

So i got a Withered Hand Lightning Staff (absorb magicka enchant + Charged) and it says its worth like 40K. Never used this set before but i'm assuming it's pretty good?

I'm also wondering if it's a decent set to run VMA with since it restores both health and magicka, making for good sustainability for mages. Never run VMA before but planning to relatively soon, and wondering if i should switch to this set on my necro.

    If you’re going to use Withered Hand for sustain in vMA, @Swordbreaker, be sure to pair it with a damage set.

    I've tried it on a Magplar in vMA, didn't really worked for me, but you may get better results with it

    Just farm false god. False god + iceheart = casual mode in VMA.

    Julianos with mother sorrow, ice heart helped me out alot in vma.

    Necropotence is another good Magicka set to use if you use summonables in your rotation.(I.e. sorcerers twilight, Storm atronach & familiar, Necromancers Blastbones, Spirit mender & Slkeletal mage.)

    Necromancers benefit greater from the withered hand set in combination with their “Death Gleaning Passive” while a Bone Tyrant Ability is slotted.

    If a game does not respect your time, best thing to do is move on from it and find something else.

    Just go to Craglorn and join a nSS group. The trial is easy on normal and you can get False God, not perfected but it is still good.

    It's especially good in VMA. About trials it's better to begin as DPS. Tanking trials is first of all about experience, you may be simply kicked if you don't know mechanics
