We got a new skill line last chapter. We will get three new skill lines this coming chapter with the new class.

    Open to the thought.
Weapon skills, is one, guild skills are probably easier to add
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Wow. Yeah, more skill lines would be fun.

Combat skills would be useful, but I’d also like to see more non-combat skill lines. What if there was a gardening guild for growing some old and new provisioning ingredients. Maybe some alchemy stuff too. I’d like to grow stuff in the player housing world.

I’d also like a hunting guild where we could hunt rare beasts for rewards. Skilline could offer ability to see new stuff to kill.

Polearms skill line: (2 types of 2h weapons, both crafted at woodworking station):

Combat Staff - magicka scaled weapon in mind for melee combat (kinda like misticism monk style) - with more AOE potenial than range.
Spear - stamina scaled weapon in mind with longer range than other melee weapons but with less AOE potenial.

Skills could be the same for both, but they will all have stamina / magicka morphs. Some base skills (without morph) will be stamina and some magicka based.
Magicka morphs will be more effective for Combat Staff and stamina morphs will be more effective for Spears.

Would love to see bound weapons or one hand and rune as a melee option for magicka builds.

Now while I'm in complete support for more classes, new weapon skill lines would be great as well. And to the people who are complaining about the need to level a new skill line, what's the difference from leveling 1 or 2 every other quarter (if even for one year) than leveling a new character/class that has three? Leveling a new character requires more than just the class skill lines as it would need the armor skill lines and weapon skill lines as well. More diversity in skill options could bring a ton of new builds and possibly virtually get rid of the "meta".

I'd like to see more undaunted skills. We need more skills that have synergies to reward smart group play.

While I think this sounds like a good idea, I think we would run into the problem of how the passives would work if they were crammed into a single skill line. I suppose it's possible though.

    Yes.

I think adding a magic tome that can do a few really strong spells, that take 9 seconds to cast, would be really interesting. :o
Like how in Dragon's Dogma mages have to cast from far away and in safe spots or else they can't finish their spells. And they run out of mana fast too.

Looks amazing.... and feels much more sorc than the eso-sorc.
But i think it would not be possible... all healer would start crying that you ran out of there healings spring and that they have to walk two steps to give you combat prayer

Free hand casting abilities maybe by the use of equipping destruction(fire, frost, lightning) scrolls as 1 handed weapons as opposed to staff being the only 2 handed magic weapon available. Would also make decent way for folks who want to go spellsword or spell shield combo.

Crossbows would be nice as a one handed weapon for bow range variants.

Unarmed? maybe would make more sense if this was available for vamps or werewolves.

Polearms maybe have them be throwable? kinda like a harpoon so it kinda acts like a 2h weapon but it could be more mid range.

PvP line with more emphasis on netrualizing/corrupting enemy player’s abilities, less focus on Cyrodiil mechanics like keeps. Give PvPers tools to combat other abilities without nerfing PvE abilities for everyone else.

One Handed Line, Spellsword line would be nice. But maybe even skill lines that had nothing to do with combat. Maybe some kind of farming tree or something. Just something different

    I have a suggestion.

Add one more skill to the staff skill line. And Magicka weapon skill line.

Poison staff - Ranged poison damage that restores stamina with HA.

Magicka Weapon - Spear. Would restore Magicka with melee attacks. Would have DPS and Tank Morphs.

I wouldn't complain if we got some more, especially ones to fill missing gaps (unarmed, spear, crossbow) but I would also love to see some of the older lines expanded and added to.

Considering how crossbows work.I don't think it would be the fastest skill line.

I can see why people say yes to this and why some say no to this. No because we already have a lot of skill lines, at the same time we are indeed missing several that were in Skyrim, Oblivion and Morrowind. An example that was posted above was spears, aka polearms. As for magic we are also missing a few such as illusion and alteration.

However if any further skill lines whatsoever were to be added, we might need more bar space. Not to large like room for 10 abilities, but maybe room for 7.

Only so much time for a rotation.Plus console limitations.

every patch we get more and more armor sets, but what would you say to more skill lines

Why not both? Let's get monster sets that, instead of just giving you a passive proc, actually allows you to slot an active ability on your bar!

They could add really cool ults this way!
