Weapon Swapping should really be instant like in Guild Wars 2. Its very slow and clunky...

    I would like to see how long it takes you to put a sword away and take out your bow in real life. Something tells me it would be slower than the game makes it.

    Doesn't GW2 also have like a 20 second incombat cooldown after you've switched?

    While we are talking about real life how realistic is it to summon lightning storms and so forth..

    The cooldown is on being able to switch back to the weapon you were using before - you can immediately hit skills after switching weaps in GW2.

    you can also not switch back and begin using stuff virtually immediately. if you think this weapon swap is slow, the internet has fried your entire attention span and you should go wait in line at a DMV to get a sense of reality.

    seriously this weapon swapping is wildly more realistic and capable of doing 1000 times more by having intermittent, REALISTIC weapon swapping/delays back and forth. learn to use it... or watch that video of the emperor guy own everybody while CONSTANTLY weapon switching... idk the name but i think everyone has seen it by now. tell THAT guy weapon swapping is too slow while he destroys you and everyone you know...then go back to GW2 cause its free if you still want to complain.

    My complaint with weapon swapping is that it doesn't queue up like skills seem to do.

    If I'm just finishing a spell, or have just finished an attack... I can't weapon swap until the animation/action is finished. And then I have to hit the button to swap.

    I'd like it if I could "Shoot Arrow" -> Weapon Swap... and the weapon would swap out once the arrow animation is done.

    Skills seem to queue up in this fashion if I'm a little bit ahead of the animation finishing... but not the weapon swap ability.

    Which causes a little confusion and disorientation because it breaks the "rhythm".

    Another thing is that sometimes when you hit the swap button nothing happens so you hit it again and then suddenly you get a double swap and are back to the original weapon.

    You have to complete casting a spell or using an ability on your bar before you can swap weapons. That could be the cause of the delay you are experiencing.

    Uh my comment is related to customer support lol.

    I'm a customer and I would like support regarding improvement in weapon swapping. There isn't a suggestions or bug section so this is the forum for those that people have been using.
