Best time to review "Swarm"? (Warden skill idea)

With the changes of this patch, it's clear that Caltrops is not worth slotting anymore for a damage dealer builds in PvE.
Some people are already testing "Soul Trap" but It'd be a great time to ask again why "Swarm" does not have a stamina morph?

As warden Bow (and stam warden in general) builds it'd be a great ability.

I'm not an expert and I don't know if it is a good idea but why not move the "Growing Swarm effect" to the base skill and making:

-1st morph: change the skill to a stamina ability that does physical and poison damage and snare the enemies (30%?).

- 2 morph: adding Minor Magickasteal for example. (giving a good utility to magden (they also need some love).

Thanks for reading

You just asked ZOS to review something to do with the warden class.

    Their response:

ZOS has a strict policy of not giving wardens any attention. They've enforced this policy ever since the class launched.

They totally reviewed Cliff Racer in the early days of Morrowind...and made it dodgeable. The hate tells prior to that were fun sometimes.

I'm gonna say no for both morph ideas. 1st is all over the place and we don't need more snares. The second one is too similar to nb's debilitate. #fetcherinjection is a very popular idea and people want the spread effect on growing to be better. Though i feel like lotus blossom could offer a unique light attack execute scaling bonus along with providing the healing utility that magicka warden can't bring that the rest of the class does.

I understand your point, still, I don't get why this spell doesn't have a stamina morph, whatever it would do as an additional. effect

yeah i can understand what you want. but i mean, for the title of your post? isn't it the best time to review most warden skills anyway?

Because every class skill that gets a stamina morph takes an option away from magicka builds; we don't have multiple different, viable offensive weapon options.

Because the last thing that magdens need are fewer class options for magicka-related damage skills. Changing one ofthe options to a stam morph just further reduces the options available to us.

As a PvP Magden, you may have Growing Swarm for your Stam morph. Leave all other Magden skills alone please.

Your nerf suggestion is dumb. Learn to counter other players instead of having the game rebuilt to your ability level.

Make one of the morphs do minor lifesteal. That way a magden has a way to proc the 10% health passive for everyone.

the skill does proc the passive "Bond With Nature", which in turn procs the passive i am talking about, "Maturation", on yourself but i am talking about proc Maturation on your team, in a way that is not losing a ton of dps for a magden dps. i can see how you are confused. the way i would want the skill to work, is that on fetcher, you get that extra 50% damage every other cast but on Growing Swarm, you apply minor life steal to the target, which in turn procs the passive maturation on your team, which leads to being about to have a magden dps in your group being about to apply their group buff to their group. so you don't need a warden tank or warden healer if your group doesn't want/cant get it.
