Right now everyone is talking about the changes to healers and their playstyle and whatnot, but it seems nobody noticed this:
Holy Moly, this is huge:
- Magicka tanks no longer need SNB backbar for this debuff.
- Stamsorcs solo is getting huge buff
- Trashfights in trials will be easier
- Something else?

troomar✭✭✭✭Major Fracture is applied by the DoT part, so I suppose it gets refreshed every time the DoT hits. That means unless the mob leaves Caltrops area of effect, the debuff remains on it for the duration of this skill (10 seconds).Yes.1

troomar✭✭✭✭I think that works out to a 14 second debuff after the last refresh.
To be precise it's probably 13 seconds, because the DoT should start doing damage 1 second after the cast, so 9 second for the duration plus 4 seconds after the last tick.
The real question is if this skill will be still worthy to slot as the damage is going to be negligible.Yes.1 -

SaucyMcSauceface✭✭✭✭The wording looks like they have replaced the initial damage with 4 seconds of fracture, not that each tock applies the fracture. The 60% nerf to the damage is horrid for PvE though, especially when the tank will be applying fracture anyway. It is essentially a 60% nerf for no gain in PvE.
