After reading the next update 23 patch notes I have decided it's time to make a decision with this game. I have loved playing for years. But reading what they are doing and how its changing everything they have created and destroying every toon I have made I am unsure if I will continue playing. Seeing how everything is being nerfed by an average of 33% except necro. I do not feel like it is worth rebuilding everything for a 100th time. Or just cancel my plus and hope one day they fix it. Finally getting to a point where my group can get thru vmol and once this update is out that won't happen. How does everyone else feel.

✭I'm feeling pretty demoralized by the changes. Like you, I am tired of making major changes to my builds every three months, and this patch is perhaps the biggest set of changes we've seen to the game since console launch. Honestly, a game that I play for fun and entertainment, should not be causing me this much heartache. I don't like the direction the game has been headed since Murkemire and performance on Xbox NA is really poor right now. It may be time for a break.3 -

✭Depending on the next few cycles, probably go back to Guild Wars 2 or something. Been a fun ride, but if their intent is to force a DPS meta of basically one class, yeah, hard pass. I'm out.4 -

GloryClass RepresentativeIf you take the time to do the math, most of these changes show that ZOS is standardizing a lot of the damage you see in the game. I see this as a good thing.
So, I'll continue to play, and continue to provide feedback on things I don't agree with

✭✭✭I cancelled ESO+ and I didn't buy Elsweyr. Since this patch is not addressing Cyro performance, I feel quite indifferent about it. I get what you're saying. After playing this game for years, fatigue sets in. Many changes seem to be made for changes sake or to keep players in the rat race, depending on your point of view.
After exploring classes and builds for so long, I recently decided to focus on my main and that's been for the better. Once you stop thinking the grass is greener on the other side, that can lead you to improve your gameplay. You get to fully inhabit one character and hone your reflexes. Unfortunately server lag throws a spanner in the works and I am gradually winding down.1 -
